Filter by:People with primary metastatic pancreatic cancer will be treated with nab-paclitaxel and gemcitabine in combination with an investigational agent called necuparanib (M402). It is made from heparin, which is a well known blood thinner. Blood thinners have been shown in prior animal and human studies to have anti-cancer effects. Necuparanib has been re-engineered from heparin to have much lower blood thinning activity while keeping the anti-tumor activity. The investigators are testing whether necuparanib administered in combination with nab-paclitaxel and gemcitabine may be more effective than nab-paclitaxel and gemcitabine.
This randomized, Phase 2, open label study aims to assess the efficacy and safety of gemcitabine + nab paclitaxel with or without dociparstat (ODSH) as first line treatment of metastatic pancreatic cancer. This study consists of 2 periods: a Run-in Period and a Randomized Period.
AMG 479 is an investigational fully human monoclonal antibody that targets type 1 insulin-like growth factor receptor (IGF-1R). Signaling through IGF-1R plays an important role in the regulation of cell growth and survival. Gemcitabine is administered on days 1, 8 and 15 of a 28 day cycle, AMG 479 or placebo is administered on days 1 and 15 of the 28 day cycle, both are administered intravenously. The primary purpose of the study is to determine if AMG 479 and gemcitabine improves overall survival as compared to placebo and gemcitabine.
This research study uses radiation or a gene therapy agent, TNFerade in addition to a dendritic cell vaccine in patients with locally advanced or low volume metastatic pancreatic cancer. The use of TNFerade or radiation serves to generate cell death stimulating the immune response. The dendritic cell vaccine may direct a distant and lasting effective anti-tumor immune response to achieve a local and systemic clinical benefit.
This study is designed to determine the following: 1. 1. The degree and duration of T reg suppression in patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer receiving Ontak. The goal is to define the optimal time for future dendritic cell vaccine administration 2. 2. To determine the safety of anti-CD4/CD25 monoclonal antibody (Ontak) in patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer 3. 3. To follow patients treated with Ontak for a clinical response as determined by Ca 19-9 and CT scans
Phase I study of lapatinib and gemcitabine for patients with metastatic pancreaticobiliary cancer.
Eligible patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer will be treated with dual agent monoclonal antibody consisting of cetuximab and bevacizumab alone or in combination with gemcitabine
