TITAN-TCC (0416-ASG) is a Phase 2, open-label study of nivolumab (BMS-936558) monotherapy with additional nivolumab/ipilimumab "boost" cycles in previously untreated* and platinum-based pretreated, 2nd and 3rd line, advanced or metastatic transitional cell carcinoma subjects. Nivolumab is a fully human PD-1 antibody which blocks the respective immune checkpoint in a ligand (PD-L1/PD-L2) independent manner. The purpose of this study is to determine whether stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) combined with checkpoint blockaded immunotherapy (CBI) will improve the response to the anticancer treatment compared to CBI alone in patients with advanced metastatic cancer.
A multicenter randomized phase II trial of stereotactic body radiotherapy for oligo-progressive metastatic cancers. Eligible patients will be randomized in a 1:2 ratio between receiving their standard of care therapy or stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR) to all sites of oligo-progressive lesions.Radiotherapy will be administered as soon as possible following randomization, and subjects will be followed until next disease progression. The primary outcome is progression-free survival (PFS).

Diagnostic procedures, such as copper Cu 64 anti-CEA monoclonal antibody M5A PET, may help find and diagnose CEA positive cancer that may not be detected by standard diagnostic methods.
Cancers are among the most frequent leading causes of death in Taiwan, and many of them show their respective unique epidemiological and pathophysiological features in Taiwanese population. One of the distinguishing features of cancers includes their potential to metastasize outside the primary tumor. Pleural cavity and peritoneum are two of the most frequent sites of metastases when serosal surfaces are involved. The prognoses of such patients are extremely poor with a median survival of months. The understandings of cancer biology of tumor metastasis demand more in-depth studies at the molecular and cell levels. Studies based on cell culture are excellent approaches for this purpose as the cell culture provides a relevant and renewable model for studying the pathological and molecular changes underlying human malignant tumors.
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as doxorubicin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Infusing doxorubicin beads into the liver, and blocking blood flow to the tumor, may keep doxorubicin near the tumor and kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: This clinical trial is studying the side effects of doxorubicin beads and to see how well they work in treating patients with unresectable liver metastases from neuroendocrine tumors.
RATIONALE: Memantine may be able to decrease side effects caused by whole-brain radiation therapy. It is not yet known if memantine is effective in preventing side effects caused by whole-brain radiation therapy. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying memantine to see how well it works compared to a placebo in preventing side effects caused by whole-brain radiation therapy in patients with brain metastases from solid tumors.
