Filter by:This is a double-blinded, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial. Subjects will be randomly assigned to the treatment group (Modified Guizhi Fuling granules) or placebo group (Placebo granules) for 8 weeks. Outcomes will be measured at week 8 and week 12.

The investigators hypothesize that a dietary intervention supplemented with milk and other non-fermented dairy products (YesMdiet), compared to an isocaloric diet with equivalent protein and calcium content but non-dairy protein sources (NoMdiet), will lead to favorable changes of Gut Microbiome [Primary end-point] in association with improved serum Bone Turnover Markers and serum proinflammatory cytokine profiles.

The purpose of this study is to learn about how the commonly used menopausal hormone therapies were prescribed and taken in practice. This is done by using healthcare database, to study the overall dangers and benefits of menopausal hormone therapies in real-world practice. This study will include subjects who were newly diagnosed menopausal symptoms between 2012 and 2019. They were all followed up for 12 months at least. The study included the below subjects who: - were aged 40-59 years - were diagnosed to have menopausal symptoms through some medical check-ups The data collected will be used to understand: - how the commonly used menopausal hormone therapies were prescribed and taken in practice - how patients took medication as prescribed by their doctors This might help to understand treatment trends of these therapies.

Symptoms of perimenopause and menopause can significantly affect overall quality of life. It is hypothesized that daily supplements can reduce the severity of these symptoms. This is a prospective, randomized, placebo-controlled and single-blind study planned to determine the effect of acupressure application on menopausal symptoms. The hypothesis of the study is that acupressure reduces women's menopausal symptoms.
Women and men show marked differences in cardiovascular risk profile and outcome. Women experience fewer cardiovascular events than men before menopause, but this relationship seems to reverse at menopause. These disparities are probably due to hormonal factors, especially the female sex hormone estrogen seems to have a protective influence on the development of atherosclerotic plaques premenopausal. The underlying mechanisms of the effect of estrogens on the vessel wall are still insufficiently investigated. In this study, menopause related effects on leukocyte distribution and function as well on platelets and their aggregational response will be evaluated.
