NCT ID: NCT01459887 Completed - Clinical trials for Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma

Study of Recombinant Human-Mouse Chimeric Anti-CD20 Monoclonal Antibody to Treat Non-hodgkin's Lymphoma

Start date: September 2006
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

CD20, the protein which is expressed on the surface of all mature B cells, is active in many B-cell lymphomas that express this molecule such as Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma (DLBCL), the most frequently occurring subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphomas. In clinical practice, Cyclophosphamide, Doxorubicin, Vincristine, and Prednisone combination chemotherapy (CHOP) is still considered one of the standard treatment to DLBCL. CMAB304(Retuxira), the chimeric monoclonal antibody is designed to targeted against CD20 for treatment of lymphoma diseases. This trial aimed to observe the safety and efficacy of CMAB304, by added CMAB304 to CHOP chemotherapy regimen compared with CHOP chemotherapy alone.

NCT ID: NCT01459653 Completed - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Multi-level Evaluation of Chemotherapy-induced Febrile Neutropenia Prophylaxis, Outcomes, and Determinants With Granulocyte-colony Stimulating Factor

Monitor-GCSF
Start date: March 2010
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

This international, prospective, observational, open-label, pharmaco-epidemiologic study observes cancer patients at risk for chemotherapy-induced febrile neutropenia (FN) who are receiving filgrastim biosimilar (EP2006) for primary or secondary FN prophylaxis to better describe the patient population at risk for FN and treated prophylactically in physician's best clinical judgement with filgrastim biosimilar (EP2006), to describe prophylaxis patterns involving filgrastim biosimilar (EP2006), and to evaluate hematology levels and variability in hematological outcomes, impact on chemotherapy delivery, radiotherapy, surgery, and mortality. Additionally the study aims to identify patient cohorts who are vulnerable to poor response to FN prophylaxis and experience break-through episodes of FN, understand the differences between prophylaxis responders and non-responders, and describe the degree to which prophylaxis of FN is in congruence with guideline recommendations.

NCT ID: NCT01453205 Completed - Clinical trials for Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma

A Phase 2, Multicenter, Randomized, Open-label Study of MEDI-551 in Adults With Relapsed or Refractory Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma (DLBCL)

Start date: February 27, 2012
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The overall purpose of the study is to determine if MEDI-551, when used in combination with salvage chemotherapy, Ifosfamide-carboplatin-etoposide (ICE) or Dexamethasone-cytarabine (DHAP) in patients with relapsed or refractory DLBCL who are eligible for Autologous Stem Cell Transplant (ASCT), has superior efficacy compared to rituximab in the same population.

NCT ID: NCT01448096 Completed - Clinical trials for Large B Cell Diffuse Lymphoma

Study in Patients With Primary Breast Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma

Start date: August 2011
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to clarify the impact of rituximab on clinical outcomes in patients with primary breast diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and also to investigate the role of prophylactic intrathecal chemotherapy using methotrexate for reducing central nervous system (CNS) recurrence.

NCT ID: NCT01431209 Completed - Clinical trials for Refractory Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma

Ruxolitinib Phosphate to Treat Diffuse Large B-Cell or Peripheral T-Cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma After Stem Cell Transplant

Start date: August 12, 2011
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial studies how well ruxolitinib phosphate works in treating patients with diffuse large B-cell or peripheral T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma that has returned (relapsed) or that does not respond to treatment (refractory) after donor stem cell transplant. Ruxolitinib phosphate may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.

NCT ID: NCT01427881 Completed - Clinical trials for Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia

Cyclophosphamide for Prevention of Graft-Versus-Host Disease After Allogeneic Peripheral Blood Stem Cell Transplantation in Patients With Hematological Malignancies

Start date: September 2011
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial studies how well cyclophosphamide works in preventing chronic graft-versus-host disease after allogeneic peripheral blood stem cell transplant in patients with hematological malignancies. Giving chemotherapy and total-body irradiation before transplantation helps stop the growth of cancer cells and prevents the patient's immune system from rejecting the donor's stem cells. Healthy stem cells from a donor that are infused into the patient help the patient's bone marrow make blood cells; red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Sometimes, however, the transplanted donor cells can cause an immune response against the body's normal cells, which is called graft-versus-host disease (GVHD). Giving cyclophosphamide after transplant may prevent this from happening or may make chronic GVHD less severe.

NCT ID: NCT01421667 Completed - Clinical trials for Lymphoma, Non-Hodgkin

A Study of Brentuximab Vedotin in Relapsed or Refractory Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma

Start date: August 2011
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is an open-label, multicenter, phase 2 clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of brentuximab vedotin as a single agent in patients with CD30-positive non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) (Part A). The study will also evaluate the safety and efficacy of brentuximab vedotin in combination with rituximab in patients with relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) (Part B) as well as further evaluate correlation of CD30 expression and response in DLBCL (Part C).

NCT ID: NCT01414855 Completed - Lymphoma, B-Cell Clinical Trials

A Study of Obinutuzumab [RO5072759 (GA101)] in Combination With CHOP Chemotherapy in Patients With Previously Untreated Advanced Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma (GATHER)

Start date: August 31, 2011
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This open-label, multicenter study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of obinutuzumab [RO5072759 (GA101)] in combination with CHOP (Cyclophosphamide, Doxorubicin, Vincristine, Prednisone) chemotherapy in patients with advanced diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Patients will receive 8 cycles of obinutuzumab (1000 mg intravenously on Day 1 of each 21-day cycle, during Cycle 1 obinutuzumab will also be infused on Days 8 and 15) in combination with CHOP chemotherapy on Day 1 of cycles 1 to 6. A substudy will investigate the drug-drug interaction of obinutuzumab with CHOP chemotherapy agents. For the substudy, an additional cohort of approximately 15 patients are planned to be enrolled at a subset of investigational sites.

NCT ID: NCT01397825 Completed - Clinical trials for Mantle Cell Lymphoma

MLN8237 in Patients With Relapsed or Refractory Aggressive B-Cell Lymphoma Treated With Rituximab +/- Vincristine

Start date: August 9, 2011
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a single-arm, open-label, multicenter, dose escalation, phase 1-2 study of alisertib (MLN8237) administered in patients with relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL)/transformed follicular lymphoma (TFL) treated with rituximab and vincristine. The study has three parts as follows: Phase 1, Part 1: Safety lead-in cohort to evaluate alisertib (MLN8237) and rituximab. Phase 1, Part 2: Dose escalation cohort to evaluate alisertib (MLN8237) + Rituximab + Vincristine and determine Phase 2 dose. Patients with other types of B-cell lymphoma (including mantle cell or Burkitt's lymphoma may enroll in Parts 1 and 2. Phase 2: Alisertib (MLN8237) + Rituximab + Vincristine in patients with relapsed or refractory DLBCL or TFL at recommended Phase 2 dose. Note that in 2013 Sponsor decision was taken to not initiate the phase 2 portion of the trial, which would have investigated the triplet at the recommended phase 2 dose identified in part 2. This decision was based on reprioritization within the company and not on any clinical or safety outcomes observed.
