A Study to Investigate BMS-986165 and Methotrexate in Healthy Male Patients

Start date: January 8, 2018

NCT ID: NCT03093402 Completed - Clinical trials for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

JBT-101 in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE)

Start date: December 21, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of JBT-101 (also known as lenabasum) in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). - One hundred adults with active joint disease and at least moderate pain will be enrolled in this study to evaluate treatment of their systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) with JBT-101. JBT-101 is a synthetic endocannabinoid receptor type 2 (CB2) agonist and an activator of the body's normal processes, to resolve innate immune responses without immunosuppression. - Participants will receive 2 doses of JBT-101 by mouth (three groups of varying doses) or, placebo, for 84 days and will continue to be followed for an additional 28 days. Participant visits to assess endpoints occur on Day 1, then every 2 weeks twice, then every 4 weeks three times, for a total of six visits. - The change in maximum daily pain Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) score from Baseline (Visit 1) will be assessed at every visit.

NCT ID: NCT02857452 Completed - Lupus Clinical Trials

Transcultural Validation in French of the Systemic Lupus Activity Questionnaire (SLAQ) and the Lupus Quality Of Life (LupusQoL) Questionnaire

FRESH COLA
Start date: January 2009
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

The evaluation of lupus patients must include several approaches, in particular disease activity and quality of life. The Systemic Lupus Activity Questionnaire (SLAQ) is a validated self-questionnaire to evaluate disease activity. It has the advantage of being inexpensive, easy to use in large cohorts and has been used in several studies. It has never been validated in French. The Lupus Quality Of Life (LupusQoL) is a self-questionnaire to evaluate quality of life and is specific to systemic lupus erythematous; it was developed from interviews with patients. This tool, validated in a British population, has never been validated in French.

NCT ID: NCT02265744 Completed - Lupus Clinical Trials

Safety and Efficacy Study of a Biologic to Treat Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

Start date: November 13, 2014
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Study evaluating the safety and efficacy of a novel biologic in the treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus in male and female adults. Patients who qualify will be randomized to either active BMS-931699 or placebo for initially, up to 24 weeks. Patients who complete the initial 24 weeks of treatment and who are responding to therapy will have the option to continue receiving BMS-931699 as part of a long-term extension (LTE). Disease activity and safety will be assessed over the course of the study through laboratory values, various rating scales accepted in systemic lupus erythematosus studies and patient self reporting.

NCT ID: NCT00710021 Completed - Clinical trials for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

Vitamin D3 in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

Start date: November 2008
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of vitamin D3 on the expression of alpha interferon (IFN alpha) expression in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients with vitamin D deficiency.

NCT ID: NCT00657189 Completed - Clinical trials for Lupus Erythematosus, Systemic

A Study to Evaluate Safety and Tolerability of Subcutaneous Doses of MEDI-545 in Subjects With Lupus

Start date: July 2008
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of multiple doses of MEDI-545 in subjects with moderately to severely active Lupus.

NCT ID: NCT00581763 Completed - Lupus Clinical Trials

Long-Term Outcome of Children and Adolescents With Anti-Phospholipid Antibodies

APL
Start date: May 2001
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

This is a study about why some people have certain types of proteins in their blood, called anti-phospholipid antibodies. The presence of these antibodies and associated complications (e.g. blood clots) are known to change over time. The purpose of this study is to evaluate these changes and improve our ability to determine the long-term outcome of affected individuals.

NCT ID: NCT00482989 Completed - Lupus Clinical Trials

A Study to Evaluate the Safety and Tolerability of Multiple Intravenous Doses of MEDI 545 in Patients With Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

Start date: June 2007
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

To evaluate the safety and tolerability of multiple IV doses of the MEDIMUNNE antibody in adult patients with SLE.
