Start date: October 26, 2018
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

Investigating potential of controlling brain metastases in patients with EGFR positive NSCLC.

NCT ID: NCT03529851 Completed - Clinical trials for Lung Cancer Stage IV

Feasibility of a Web-based Patient Reported Outcome Symptom Monitoring Application in Danish Lung Cancer Patients

Start date: May 1, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The trial is a pilot study prior to a following phase III trial and is designed to test the feasibility, acceptability and technical usability of supplementary web-based follow-up in lung cancer via a patient-reported outcome application.

NCT ID: NCT03526900 Completed - Clinical trials for Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Stage IV

Atezolizumab in Combination With Carboplatin Plus Pemetrexed in Chemotherapy-naïve Patients With Asymptomatic Brain Metastasis

ATEZO-BRAIN
Start date: July 7, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a multicenter, national, nonrandomized, phase II trial in subjects with nonsquamous NSCLC patients that have untreated asymptomatic BM. A pre-screening period using brain MRI for patients diagnosed with advanced non-squamous NSCLC EGFR/ALK wild type and ECOG PS 0-1 will be crucial to identify patients with asyntomatic BM. Forty patients will be recruited.

NCT ID: NCT03526887 Completed - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

Re-challenge Pembrolizumab Study as a Second or Further Line in Patients With Advanced NSCLC

Replay
Start date: July 15, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Exploratory phase II trial of intravenous (IV) Pembrolizumab MK-3475 as second or further line with advanced Non-small cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) who have failed to a prior treatment with anti-PDL1 drug. Pembrolizumab 200 mg ,Q3W, IV infusion, Day 1 of each 3 week cycle will be administered until disease progression.

NCT ID: NCT03523689 Completed - Lung Neoplasm Clinical Trials

Radial-Probe Endobronchial Ultrasound in Detecting Atelectasis in Patients Undergoing Peripheral Bronchoscopy

Start date: April 30, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This trial studies how well radial-probe endobronchial ultrasound works in detecting the complete or partial collapse of the lung in patients undergoing peripheral bronchoscopy. Diagnostic procedures, such as radial-probe endobronchial ultrasound and bronchoscopy, use a thin, tube-like instrument inserted through the nose or mouth to view and take pictures of the inside of the trachea, air passages, and lungs.

NCT ID: NCT03521375 Completed - Lung Neoplasms Clinical Trials

VIdeo Assisted Thoracoscopic Lobectomy Versus Conventional Open LobEcTomy for Lung Cancer

VIOLET
Start date: July 2015
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death worldwide and survival in the United Kingdom (UK) remains amongst the lowest in Europe. Surgery is the main method of managing early stage disease and is traditionally undertaken via conventional open surgery. However, over the last decade there has been a surge in the number of minimal access resections performed using Video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS). However, there remains a need for well-designed and conducted randomised controlled trial (RCT) to provide the evidence base for the wide spread uptake and delivery of this surgical approach.

NCT ID: NCT03520842 Completed - Clinical trials for Metastatic Malignant Neoplasm in the Brain

Regorafenib and Methotrexate in Treating Participants With Recurrent or Metastatic KRAS Mutated Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Start date: August 14, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial studies how well regorafenib works together with methotrexate in treating participants with metastatic non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer with tumors that harbor a KRAS mutation. Regorafenib is a targeted therapy that works on different cancer pathways to stop the growth of tumor cells and stop them from spreading. Methotrexate may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving regorafenib and methotrexate together may work in treating participants with KRAS mutated non-small cell lung cancer.

NCT ID: NCT03517488 Completed - Clinical trials for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Start date: July 10, 2018
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase 1, multiple dose, ascending dose escalation study to define a MTD/RD and regimen of XmAb20717, to describe safety and tolerability, to assess PK and immunogenicity, and to preliminarily assess anti-tumor activity of XmAb20717 in subjects with selected advanced solid tumors.
