Filter by:A prospective, two-arm, non-randomized, concurrently controlled, multi-center, open-label, treat and resect study following patients to 1 year. The study is designed to evaluate the safety and feasibility of the Aliya System for the ablation of solid tumors using pulsed electric field (PEF) energy delivery. The study is intended for adult patients with suspected or confirmed NSCLC 8th ed. Stage IA2, IA3 or IB (>1 to ≤4 cm solitary lesion) who are surgical candidates and have not received treatment for the index tumor in the last two years.
Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is an aggressive type of neuroendocrine tumor with the majority of patients (about 60-70%) being diagnosed with metastatic disease and with a median survival ranging from 7 to 12 months. Combination chemotherapy (CT), namely a platinum and etoposide-based regimen, represents the cornerstone of treatment for extended disease (ED) SCLC. Despite this the duration of response is short and nearly all patients develop disease relapse or progression. The recent approval of atezolizumab in combination with carboplatin and etoposide as first line in patients with ED SCLC is surely a step forward in the understanding the molecular landscape and treatment of this complex tumor, but new therapeutic approaches need to be explored. This trial aims to assess the efficacy in terms of 1 year survival a new therapeutic strategy that combines to the standard CT (carboplatin and etoposide), two drugs indicated in the tratment of several types of tumors: bevacizumab and atezolizomab. The treatment will start with an induction phase during which eligible patients will receive, by intravenous way, a combination of the above mentioned drugs according to a specific administration regimen. This phase will last about 18 weeks. Therafter the treatment will proceed with a maintenence phase lasting for a maximum of 54 weeks during which the patients will receive only atezolizumab and bevacizumab, by intravenous way, according to a specific administration regimen. Treatment will be discontnued in case of disease progression, unacceptable toxicity, patient refusal or loss of clinical benefit (for atezolizumab). During the study period the patients will undergo to periodic visits and laboratory, radiologic assessments to monitor the efficacy and the safety of the ongoing treatment.
The main purpose of this study is to compare pembrolizumab/vibostolimab coformulation (MK-7684A) plus docetaxel or pembrolizumab/vibostolimab coformulation to normal saline placebo plus docetaxel. Participants with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and progressive disease (PD) after platinum doublet chemotherapy and treatment with one prior anti- programmed cell death 1 (PD-1)/ programmed cell death ligand 1(PD-L1) monoclonal antibody (mAb). MK-7684A is a coformulation product of pembrolizumab/vibostolimab. The dual primary hypotheses of the study are pembrolizumab/vibostolimab coformulation plus docetaxel and pembrolizumab/vibostolimab coformulation is superior to normal saline placebo plus docetaxel with respect to progression free survival (PFS) per Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors Version 1.1 (RECIST 1.1) by blinded independent central review (BICR).
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of pemetrexed+platinum chemotherapy+pembrolizumab (MK-3475) with or without lenvatinib (MK-7902/E7080) as first-line intervention in adults from mainland China with metastatic nonsquamous non-small cell lung cancer. The primary study hypotheses state that: 1) the combination of lenvatinib+platinum doublet chemotherapy+pembrolizumab prolongs Progression-free Survival (PFS) as assessed by blinded independent central review (BICR) per modified Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors version 1.1 (RESIST 1.1) compared to matching placebo+platinum doublet chemotherapy+pembrolizumab, and 2) the combination of lenvatinib+platinum doublet chemotherapy+pembrolizumab prolongs Overall Survival (OS) compared to matching placebo+platinum doublet chemotherapy + pembrolizumab.
To explore the non-inferiority of a cfDNA amplicon-based liquid biopsy technology vs. standard of care tissue biopsy-based NGS in detecting guideline- recommended biomarkers in patients with metastatic non-squamous Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC), amongst other endpoints. To explore the non-inferiority of cfDNA-based LiquidHALLMARK test vs. cfDNA-based liquid biopsy competitor, both qualitatively and quantitatively for actionable mutation (percentage of allele frequency) profile results in a population of subjects who have at least one actionable mutation detected by tissue biopsy.
This phase II trial studies the effect of niraparib and dostarlimab in treating small cell lung cancer and other high-grade neuroendocrine carcinomas. Niraparib is an inhibitor of PARP, an enzyme that helps repair deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) when it becomes damaged. Blocking PARP may help keep cancer cells from repairing their damaged DNA, causing them to die. PARP inhibitors are a type of targeted therapy. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as dostarlimab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving niraparib and dostarlimab may help to control the diseases.
To evaluate the safety and effect of neoadjuvant chemotherapy and immunotherapy combined with probiotics for early resectable NSCLC patients.
This is a research study, is testing a program to improve lung health through smoking cessation and providing education around lung screening. In this research study involves Studying the Enhanced Smoking Cessation Approaches to Promote Empowerment (ESCAPE) program compared to usual care. The ESCAPE program was developed help women with HIV quit smoking. Women in the ESCAPE program quit smoking and stayed quit for longer (up to 3 months). For this study, investigators have added a lung screening to the ESCAPE program and want to test if this will improve lung health through increasing quit rates and lung screening. .
To assess the efficacy and safety of Almonertinib versus placebo in patients with epidermal growth factor receptor mutation-positive (EGFRm+) stage II-IIIB non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), following complete tumor resection with or without adjuvant chemotherapy.
This Phase 3 study will evaluate the efficacy of the investigational agent MRTX849 (adagrasib) versus docetaxel in patients who have been previously treated for metastatic NSCLC with a KRAS G12C mutation.
