Filter by:This is a research study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of tocilizumab in combination with atezolizumab to treat non-small cell lung cancer.
In this pilot study, healthy volunteers and patients with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer will undergo [18F]F-AraG dynamic imaging on the uEXPLORER total body Positron Emission Tomography/Computerized Tomography scanner to obtain preliminary data regarding pharmacokinetics and early biodistribution images.
This is a prospective, randomized, single-site, open-label Phase II trial of neoadjuvant pembrolizumab (3 cycles) followed by surgery, versus concomitant neoadjuvant pembrolizumab with platinum doublet chemotherapy (3 cycles) followed by surgery for participants with Stage IA3, IB and IIA non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Participants will be offered pembrolizumab (6 cycles), and standard of care adjuvant chemotherapy (4 cycles) if applicable.
The present study is a prospective cohort study. The aim is to assess the relationship between the presence of cancer stem-cells (CSC) and the risk of relapse in patients with early and locally advanced adenocarcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma of the lung
"Risk factors of Immune-ChEckpoint inhibitor MEdiated Liver, gastrointestinal, endocrine and skin Toxicity" (ICEMELT) study is a prospective multicenter cohort study, enrolling patients who are scheduled to receive (1) single agent PD1/L1 inhibitor; (2) PD1/L1 inhibitor plus CTLA4 inhibitor; (3) platinum-based chemotherapy + PD1/L1 inhibitor; (4) PD1/L1 inhibitor and tyrosine kinase inhibitor and (5) PD1/L1 inhibitor and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) inhibitor.
Pancreatic and biliary tract cancer are ones of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths. During the course of illness, these patients often experience marked physical suffering, psychological distress and frequent unplanned resource-demanding hospitalized care. Patients with pancreatic and lung cancer have highest rates of unplanned hospitalizations. Investigator initiated prospective "Study of Supportive Application with Integrated Patient-Reported Outcomes in Patients with Advanced Pancreatic or Biliary Tract Cancer (BetterEveryDay)" is to be initiated based on the great need for optimizing treatment care, reducing hospitalizations and improving outcomes.
To evaluate the predictive value of ctDNA in response, relapse for patients treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors or targeted therapy for ALK, ROS1, MET ex14 skipping.
This study will collect de-identified tumor samples, with correlated clinical/demographic data and tissue histology, from patients selected or scheduled for pre-treatment tumor biopsy or who have had a recent pre-treatment tumor biopsy. These specimens and clinical data may be used in subsequent studies for the development and validation of a diagnostic test.
Accurate evaluation of activity status is an important part of the assessment of people with cancer. Clinician assessments currently used are valuable but have limitations; in particular, assessment only occurs when the patient attends clinic and is often subjective. Activity trackers, such as FitBits, give the opportunity to objectively assess activity status continuously, independent of clinic visits. Previous studies have shown that a reduction in 1000 steps while receiving cancer treatment is associated with an increased risk of hospitalisation but it is not known if using information from activity trackers to allow early intervention is feasible or if it can reduce admission to hospital and improve outcomes. The investigators propose a prospective feasibility study in people with advanced lung cancer or upper gastrointestinal cancers who are starting a new line of systemic anti-cancer therapy. Participants will receive a FitBit, which is a commercially available wearable activity tracker for the duration of their treatment or 4 months (whichever is shorter). Step counts will be monitored and a reduction in daily steps of >1000 from baseline will trigger contact by the study team and an ambulatory review. Participants will not receive treatment within the context of the study.
To assess efficacy and safety of oral X-396 (Ensartinib) capsule in Chinese ALK-positive NSCLC patients with brain metastases, eligible patients will be enrolled with objective responses being primary outcome measures.
