The goal of this retrospective, observational study is to preliminarily learn about the safety and efficacy of two-step radical prostatectomy in the treatment of low- to intermediate-risk prostate cancer patients with enlarged prostate and severe benign prostatic hyperplasia. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Whether two-step prostatectomy is safe enough to decrease the surgical difficulty of these patients? 2. Whether the oncologic control is promising?

The most common reason for applying to a hospital in the postoperative period is due to the double J stent inserted during operations of the ureteroscopic lithotripsy, which is reflected pain (T11-L2). QL-P for postoperative analgesia after URS operations Our primary hypothesis in this prospective, randomized, controlled study is that the symptoms of the sub-urinary system associated with the DJS of the QL-P block will decrease. Our secondary hypotheses in the study are to investigate the effects of the unilateral QL-P block, made under ultrasound guidance, on pain scores after ureteroscopic lithotripsy operations due to unilateral ureteral stones made under spinal anesthesia.
Aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of conducting self-management interventions on severity of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) for patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Research hypothesis: To fulfill the aim of this study, the following research hypothesis was formulated: Patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia will suffer less lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) after conducting self-management intervention than before conducting.
From previous studies, the investigators found that sexual outcomes after prostate surgery may show insignificant improvement, remain unchanged or deteriorate in non-negligible number of patients especially those with high preoperative IIEF scores. Deterioration of erectile function could be attributed to persistence of storage symptoms specially nocturia. Several pathophysiologic mechanisms, described before, are involved in pathogenesis of LUTS and ED and one can imagine that after relief of obstruction, the erectile function should improve, however lack of improvement or even deterioration suggests that damage associated with these mechanisms is irreversible and patients may require some sort of penile rehabilitation after surgery. The investigators hypothesized that Tadalafil may enhance relief of storage symptoms and enhance recovery of erectile function after surgery for BPH. With this assumption, a RCT was designed to examine the utility and efficacy of Tadalafil, once daily dose, to relieve persistent/ de novo storage symptoms and early erectile function deterioration after endoscopic prostate surgery.
This is a pilot 12-week randomized, placebo-controlled N-of-1 deprescribing trial among older men receiving chronic tamsulosin therapy for lower urinary tract symptoms attributed to benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Research question: Does offering an online self-management program lead to more efficient use of care by men with urinary complaints? Hypothesis: Many men with urinary symptoms receive medication from their GP. Advice on how to self-manage complaints is often skipped. This while self-management is effective. By offering self-management instead of visiting a GP the use of care by men with urinary complaints may decrease and treatment may become more efficient. Study design: Men are randomized to receive either care-as-usual by their GP or the online self-management program. Men will be followed for six months and the cost-effectiveness of the online self-management intervention will be compared to the care-as-usual
