Filter by:The goal of this clinical research study is to learn if a special combination of chemotherapy drugs called "augmented hyper-CVAD chemotherapy" given over 6 to 8 months followed by monthly maintenance chemotherapy for one year can help to control acute lymphoblastic leukemia or lymphoblastic lymphoma. The safety of this therapy will also be studied.
This open-label trial will evaluate a dose of oral lenalidomide 10 mg taken daily on days 1-21 of 28 day cycle. Oral melphalan 0.18mg/kg will be taken on days 1-4 of a 28 day cycle. Oral dexamethasone 40 mg will be taken on days 1, 8, 15 and 22 of a 28 day cycle. Up to 15 patients over the age of 18 with newly diagnosed or relapsed AL amyloidosis will be included in this study. In the absence of disease progression or toxicity, patients will complete nine cycles of therapy. After nine cycles, subjects have the option of continuing lenalidomide therapy alone. The primary objective of this study is safety and tolerability of the above regimen. The secondary objectives are hematologic and organ responses, as well as time to progression.
RATIONALE: Gathering information about why patients or their guardians agree or decline to participate in the optional pharmacokinetic portion of a phase I treatment study may help doctors plan clinical trials in the future. PURPOSE: This clinical trial is looking at decision making about participating in pharmacokinetic studies in patients enrolled in a phase I treatment clinical trial.
The purpose of this registry is to record information on therapy reality of malignant lymphatic systemic diseases by office-based haematologists in Germany.
This is a phase I dose escalation study of DT2219ARL for the treatment of relapsed or refractory B-lineage leukemia and lymphoma. Patients will receive a single course of DT2219ARL as a 4 hour infusion on days 1, 3, 5, and 8. Weekly follow-up will continue through day 29, at which time a disease reassessment will be done. For patients in remission, follow-up will continue monthly until disease progression or start of a new treatment. Otherwise day 29 will be the final study visit if there is no ongoing toxicity. This phase I study will use Continual Reassessment Method (CRM) to establish a maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of DT2219ARL. Up to 3 dose levels will be tested with an additional dose level (-1) if dose level 1 proves too toxic. The goal of CRM is to identify the dose level which correspondences to a desired toxicity rate of 33% or less using grade 3 or 4 capillary leak syndrome and any grade 3 or greater toxicity attributed to DT2219ARL as the targeted toxicity (based on CTCAE version 4).
The purpose of this study is to collect a blood sample in patients with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL).
The goal of this clinical research study is to learn if Vidaza (azacitidine) will help to control the disease in patients with AML, CMML, or MDS after an allogeneic (donor) stem cell transplant. The safety of this drug will also be studied.
This is a multicenter study to assess the anti-tumour activity,to investigate the safety profile and to obtain additional pharmacokinetic information for Aplidin® given as 1-hour weekly IV infusion in patients with aggressive non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
The goal of this clinical research study is to learn if 5-aza-2 deoxycytidine (decitabine) given in combination with Mylotarg (gemtuzumab ozogamicin) can help to control Acute myeloid leukemia (AML), high-risk myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) or Myelofibrosis (MF). The safety of this drug combination will also be studied.
This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of single agent oral panobinostat in patients who have refractory de novo or refractory secondary AML.
