Filter by:Rationale:The purpose of this research study is to test the effectiveness of the standard high dose cytarabine (HiDAC) on days 1 through 5 followed by a single dose of pembrolizumab on day 14 as induction therapy in patients with relapsed and refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Patients who achieve a response to treatment will continue on the study drug (pembrolizumab) every 3 weeks for up to 2 years maintenance therapy. Purpose:This is a study about a new investigative drug, pembrolizumab (MK-3475) that is being studied in a clinical research trial together with standard chemotherapy (HiDAC) in relapsed and refractory AML. The study will also explore the association between potential immune biomarkers and clinical outcomes with pembrolizumab; therefore all patients will have blood and bone marrow samples collected before and after treatment to determine the dynamic nature of immune signatures pre and post-treatment.
This is a clinical study for adult patients who have recently been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia or AML. AML is a type of cancer. It is when bone marrow makes white blood cells that are not normal. These are called leukemia cells. Some patients with AML have a mutation, or change, in the FLT3 gene. This gene helps leukemia cells make a protein called FLT3. This protein causes the leukemia cells to grow faster. For patients with AML who cannot receive standard chemotherapy, azacitidine (also known as Vidaza®) is a current standard of care treatment option in the United States. This clinical study is testing an experimental medicine called ASP2215, also known as gilteritinib. Gilteritinib works by stopping the leukemia cells from making the FLT3 protein. This can help stop the leukemia cells from growing faster. This study will compare two different treatments. Patients are assigned to one of these two groups by chance: a medicine called azacitidine, also known as Vidaza®, or an experimental medicine gilteritinib in combination with azacitidine. There is a twice as much chance to receive both medicines combined than azacitidine alone. The clinical study may help show which treatment helps patients live longer.
This study is an open-label, controlled, multicenter, international, Phase III, randomized study of transplantation of NiCord® versus transplantation of one or two unmanipulated, unrelated cord blood units in patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia or acute myeloid leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, chronic myeloid leukemia or lymphoma, all with required disease features rendering them eligible for allogeneic transplantation.
This is a phase II trial using a non-myeloablative cyclophosphamide/ fludarabine/total body irradiation (TBI) preparative regimen with modifications based on factors including diagnosis, disease status, and prior treatment. Single or double unit selected according to current University of Minnesota umbilical cord blood graft selection algorithm.
This phase II trial studies how well dasatinib and venetoclax work in treating patients with Philadelphia chromosome positive or BCR-ABL1 positive early chronic phase chronic myelogenous leukemia. Dasatinib and venetoclax may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.
This phase IIa trial studies how well guadecitabine works in treating patients with acute myelogenous leukemia and myelodysplastic syndrome that has returned after a period of improvement after allogeneic stem cell transplant. Guadecitabine may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Sometimes the transplanted cells from a donor can make an immune response against the body's normal cells (called graft-versus-host disease). Giving guadecitabine before the transplant may stop this from happening. Once the donated stem cells begin working, the patient's immune system may see the remaining cancer cells as not belonging in the patient's body and destroy them. Giving an infusion of the donor's white blood cells (donor lymphocyte infusion) may boost this effect.
The purpose of this study are 1. to determine the recommended combination dose of AG-120 and AG-221 separately when administered with azacitidine and, 2. to investigate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of the combinations of AG-120 with azacitidine and AG-221 with azacitidine versus with azacitidine alone in participants with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) with the isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH) enzyme isoforms 1 or 2 mutations, respectively.
At least one dose level of AMG 176 will achieve acceptable safety and tolerability in participants with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma and participants with relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia
The purpose of this project is to develop a process to identify highly personalized antigens that are uniquely expressed by the patient's own leukemia cells that can be used for cellular immune therapy.
The primary objective of this study is to demonstrate the efficacy of Iomab-B, in conjunction with a Reduced Intensity Conditioning (RIC) regimen and protocol-specified allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HCT), versus Conventional Care in patients with Active, Relapsed or Refractory Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).
