The results from recent RCTs have been variable and most have not shown convincing positive results when analyzing hard endpoints. Hence, there is a great need to evaluate the impact of comorbidities on the effectiveness of RIC. Therefore, we have designed a study to evaluate the impact of hypercholesterolemia on the RIC response by evaluating ischemia-induced endothelial dysfunction. Aim: To investigate the impact of hypercholesterolemia on the RIC response in counteracting ischemia-induced endothelial dysfunction.
This is a Single Center, Randomized, Double-blind, Dose Escalation, Placebo Parallel Controlled PhaseⅠClinical study to Evaluate the Safety, Tolerability and Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics with A Single Subcutaneous Injection of SHR-1209 in Healthy Subjects. The primary objective of this study is to investigate the safety and tolerability of a range of subcutaneous SHR-1209 in healthy subjects. Secondary objectives are to determine the pharmacokinetics (PK) and pharmacodynamics(PD) profile of SHR-1209 in healthy subjects including assessment of immunogenicity.
In 2012, an Expert Panel of the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute published guidelines on cardiovascular health and risk reduction in children; among these guidelines were screening recommendations for obesity and obesity-related conditions. The purpose of this study was to assess the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of multiple doses of gemcabene 600 mg QD compared to placebo in patients with hypercholesterolemia not adequately controlled on high-intensity or moderate-intensity stable statin therapy.
