NCT ID: NCT05700734 Withdrawn - HIV-1 Clinical Trials

MK-8510 Monotherapy for the Treatment of Anti-retroviral naïve Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 (HIV-1) Infected Participants (MK-8510-002)

Start date: April 17, 2023
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics and anti-retroviral activity of MK-8510 monotherapy in anti-retroviral-naïve HIV-1 infected participants.

NCT ID: NCT01391013 Completed - Clinical trials for Human Immunodeficiency Virus 1

A Study to Compare Brachial Artery Reactivity and Cardiovascular Risk of a Treatment Simplification by Darunavir/Ritonavir (DRV/r) 800/100 mg Versus a Triple Combination Therapy Containing DRV/r in HIV-1 Infected Patients

MONARCH
Start date: June 2009
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to compare change of brachial artery flow mediated vasodilatation using Darunavir/Ritonavir (DRV/r) 800/100 mg once daily as a monotherapy (use of a single medication) versus a triple combination therapy containing 2 nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs) and DRV/r in Human immunodeficiency virus-1 (HIV-1) infected participants.

NCT ID: NCT00919854 Completed - Clinical trials for Human Immunodeficiency Virus 1

A Safety Study to Evaluate the Antiviral Activity of Darunavir in Combination With Ritonavir in HIV 1 Infected Children

Start date: September 2009
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the pharmacokinetics (what the body does to the medication), safety and antiviral activity to support dose recommendations by body weight of darunavir with low-dose ritonavir (DRV/rtv), in combination with other antiretroviral drugs (ARVs), in treatment-experienced Human immunodeficiency virus 1 (HIV 1) infected children.

NCT ID: NCT00827112 Completed - Clinical trials for Human Immunodeficiency Virus-1

A Pilot Study Of A Novel Treatment Regimen, Maraviroc + Ritonavir Boosted Atazanavir, In Treatment Naive HIV-Infected Patients

Start date: March 2009
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a pilot study to examine if the novel treatment regimen maraviroc plus boosted atazanavir can be expected to be safe and efficacious in treatment naive HIV infected patients. Based on the results from this study, a confirmatory phase 3 study may be conducted.
