Start date: July 2011
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Test of bendamustine in combination with gemcitabine and vinorelbine could contribute to a higher response rate with the reduction of toxic side effects

NCT ID: NCT01884428 Recruiting - Hodgkin's Lymphoma Clinical Trials

Study of Combination of PIGEV Before Autologous Stem Cell Transplant in Patients With Hodgkin's Lymphoma

Start date: July 2011
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

study to assess maximum tolerated dose (MTD), safety, tolerability and activity of IGEV (Ifosfamide, Gemcitabine,Vinorelbine, Prednisolone) + Panobinostat new combination in order to determine the recommended phase II dose

NCT ID: NCT01877005 Completed - Hodgkin's Lymphoma Clinical Trials

A Phase II Study of Oral JAK1/JAK2 Inhibitor INC424 in Adult Patients With Relapsed/Refractory Classical Hodgkin's Lymphoma

HIJAK
Start date: July 4, 2013
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Phase II study to assess the efficacy of 6 cycles of oral JAK1/2 inhibitor ruxolitinib in patients with advanced Hodgkin's lymphoma for whom no curative option is available.

NCT ID: NCT01788839 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Longitudinal Sexual and Reproductive Health Study of Women With Breast Cancer and Lymphoma

Start date: February 2013
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to see how cancer treatment affects sexual and reproductive function. The patient will also be asked to participate in blood draws to see if and how cancer treatment affects the ovaries and the ability to have children (fertility). These blood draws are optional and the patient can still participate in the questionnaire portion of the study even if they choose not to have their blood drawn.

NCT ID: NCT01767766 Completed - Clinical trials for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of TGR 1202 in Patients With Relapsed or Refractory Hematologic Malignancies

Start date: January 7, 2013
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of TGR-1202 in patients with advanced hematologic malignancies.

NCT ID: NCT01745913 Terminated - Clinical trials for Myelodysplastic Syndrome

Randomized HaploCord Blood Transplantation vs. Double Umbilical Cord Blood Transplantation for Hematologic Malignancies

Start date: October 26, 2012
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is compare the efficacy of haplo-cord transplant (investigational arm) with that of a more commonly used procedure in which only the cells contained in one or two umbilical cords are infused (standard arm). We hypothesize that reduced intensity conditioning and haplo-cord transplant results in fast engraftment of neutrophils and platelets, low incidences of acute and chronic graft versus host disease, low frequency of delayed opportunistic infections, reduced transfusion requirements, shortened length of hospital stay and promising long term outcomes. We also hypothesize that umbilical cord blood selection can prioritize matching and better matched donors can be identified rapidly for most subjects.

NCT ID: NCT01742793 Terminated - Multiple Myeloma Clinical Trials

An Open Label, International, Multi-centre, Phase I/IIa Study of Lenalidomide (Revlimid) and Romidepsin (Istodax) for Relapsed /Refractory Hodgkin Lymphoma, Mature T-cell Lymphoma and Multiple Myeloma. (RId Study)

RID
Start date: October 2012
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The study hypothesis is that lenalidomide and romidepsin (and dexamethasone for patients with myeloma) will have an acceptable toxicity profile and that in combination will have sufficient activity in the target population (including those previously refractory to HDACi monotherapy) to warrant further investigation.

NCT ID: NCT01704742 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma

Prospective Study of Lymphoproliferative Diseases

Start date: n/a
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

This study will help researchers learn more about non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and Hodgkin's lymphoma and how it is treated in Kenya. Researchers want to see if having certain viruses like Epstein Barr Virus (EBV), Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), and Kaposi's Sarcoma Herpes Virus (KSHV) affects lymphoma. Patients in Kenya who agree to be in this study will let the resesarchers look at their medical record, follow their normal cancer care, and have blood drawn to look at different proteins and viruses. Researchers would also like to look at part of the original tumor that was taken out of each patient. Some of these samples will be stored at Kenyatta National Hospital and research will be done on them later. This study does not involve any change in treatment, but only allows the study team to follow how a patient in Kenya with lymphoma is treated.

NCT ID: NCT01699581 Terminated - Multiple Myeloma Clinical Trials

Assessment of Impact Nutritional Program During Autologous Stem Cell Transplant

Start date: September 2012
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Nestle Impact has shown efficacy in multiple surgical trials in relation to improving hospital length of stay and infection rate. 1 dose of Nestle Impact Advanced Recovery will be taken orally three times a day beginning on the morning following stem cell transplant and will continue until the day of hospital discharge.

NCT ID: NCT01643603 Terminated - Multiple Myeloma Clinical Trials

Dasatinib for Immune Modulation After Donor Stem Cell Transplant for Hematologic Malignancies

Start date: May 2012
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This study uses a drug called dasatinib to produce an anti-cancer effect called large granular lymphocyte cellular expansion. Large granular lymphocytes are blood cells known as natural killer cells that remove cancer cells. Researchers think that dasatinib may cause large granular lymphocyte expansion to happen in patients who have received a blood stem cell transplant (SCT) between 3 to 15 months after the SCT. In this research study, researchers want to find how well dasatinib can be tolerated, the best dose to take of dasatinib and how to estimate how often large granular lymphocytic cellular expansion happens at the best dose of dasatinib.
