Filter by:Pegylated interferon α-2a(Peg-IFN-α) not only inhibit viral replication, but also play an important role in immune regulation, while Nucleoside analog(ue) drugs only inhibit viral replication. In hepatitis B infection, CD4+T Cells are the main effector cells in adaptive immune response. This study was aimed at investigating the changes of CD4+T Cells frequency and function, and the expression of costimulatory molecules during Peg-IFN-αand nucleoside analog(ue) therapy.Meanwhile, the investigators want to verify whether Peg IFN - alpha suppressed the virus and the reduction of virus led to the recovery of CD4+T Cells function, or Peg IFN - alpha enhanced CD4+T Cells function which gave rise to the decline of the virus.
Pegylated interferon α-2a(Peg-IFN-α) not only inhibit viral replication, but also play an important role in immune regulation, while Nucleoside analog(ue) drugs only inhibit viral replication. In hepatitis B infection, NKs are the main effector cells in early antiviral innate immune response. This study was aimed at investigating the changes of NKs frequency and function, and the expression of costimulatory molecules during Peg-IFN-αand nucleoside analog(ue) therapy.Meanwhile, investigators want to verify whether Peg IFN - alpha suppressed the virus and the reduction of virus led to the recovery of NKs function, or Peg IFN - alpha enhanced NKs function which gave rise to the decline of the virus.
Hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection is easy to chronic and can progress to cirrhosis and liver cancer. Direct-acting antiviral treatment can significantly improve the prognosis of the disease and the efficacy is seemingly not affected by a variety of viral factors. In addition, direct-acting antiviral agents therapy may affect the transformation of the immune cells and ameliorate the host immune status consequently. This study mainly investigated the relationship between Direct Acting Antiviral Treatment effect and the functional activity of myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) and natural killer cells (NK cells) in Chronic Hepatitis C.
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability and virologic response of tenofovir alafenamide (TAF) in virologically suppressed chronic hepatitis B participants with renal and/or hepatic impairment.
Conduct in Chinese healthy adult subjects:1.To observe the safety and tolerability of multiple-dose oral administration of different doses of PNA;2.By measuring the changing drug concentration in the plasma and urine after a single oral administration of different doses of PNA on the condition of fasting, the pharmacokinetic parameters of the single dose are estimated;3.By measuring the changing drug concentration in the plasma of PNA after a multiple-dose oral administration on the condition of fasting, the pharmacokinetic parameters of multiple-dose are estimated, and a basis for dosage regimens of the clinical research phase Ⅱ is provided;4.To study the effects of diet on the pharmacokinetic parameters via the changes of concentration of PNA in plasma after high-fat and high-calorie food.
A Safety and Tolerability Evaluation of Ascending Single Oral Doses of Metacavir Enteric-coated Capsules Using a Randomized,Double-blind, Placebo-controlled Design conducted in Chinese Healthy Adult Volunteers.
- Hepatitis C is an infectious disease caused by the hepatitis C virus (HCV) that primarily affects the liver. It is one of the main causes of chronic liver diseases worldwide . - According to World Health Organization (WHO), 2011 , Egypt has particularly high rates of Hepatitis C (22%). - Hepatitis C virus (HCV) is known to induce both hepatic and extra-hepatic manifestations. About 17% of HCV patients present with at least one skin manifestation, which can be directly or indirectly induced by chronic HCV infection .
Previous studies indicated that Granulocyte Macrophage-colony Stimulating Factor (GM-CSF) could improve survival rate in patients with acute liver failure and obtain higher HBsAg seroconversion rate when in combination with peg-interferon for chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients. In this study, investigators will study the clinical effect of entecavir (ETV) plus GM-CSF in patients with CHB compared to ETV monotherapy.
Chronic hepatitis C virus infection affects an estimated one hundred and seventy million people around the world with and approximate prevalence 0.2-2 % in the United State of America and European countries.
The purpose of this study is to recruit a random and representative sample of individuals within several Zambian communities for markers of Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) and to characterize chronic HBV infection and indications for treatment.
