Filter by:The KAPPa project has the aim to create an international database in which information about clinical features, therapeutic management, burden of illness and costs of severe and moderate haemophilia A patients from different countries and sites is collected. The aim of this project is to analyse the influence of such different characteristics on medical, psychosocial and economic outcomes in patients over the long-term.

Prospective, multinational, non-interventional post-authorisation study to collect additional clinical data and to ensure consistency in the long-term between the outcome from pre-authorisation clinical studies (in 135 previously treated paediatric and adult patients) and routine clinical practice. The purpose of this study is to obtain additional data on the safety and efficacy of Wilate in PTPs with hemophilia A with at least 150 previous exposure days (EDs) to a FVIII concentrate who undergo prophylactic treatment with Wilate for 6 months and at least 50 EDs, thus supplementing the existing database to obtain approval of Wilate for the indication hemophilia A in the USA.
