Filter by:A study to assess the effect of multiple doses of venetoclax on the pharmacokinetics of ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel in female participants with different hematological malignancies. Upon completion of this study, participants receiving clinical benefit in the opinion of the investigator and without any clinically significant evidence of disease progression with no access to venetoclax (not approved for the treated indication) may continue receiving venetoclax at the discretion of the investigator in a separate extension study.
This is a multi-center, single-agent, open-label, Phase I study of APG-2575. The study consists of the dose escalation stage and the dose expansion stage.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the long-term safety and efficacy of pembrolizumab (MK-3475) in participants from previous Merck pembrolizumab-based parent studies who transition into this extension study. This study will consist of three phases: 1) First Course Phase, 2) Survival Follow-up Phase or 3) Second Course Phase. Each participant will transition to this extension study in one of the following three phases, depending on the study phase they were in at the completion of the parent study. Participants who were in the First Course Phase of study treatment with pembrolizumab or lenvatinib in their parent study will enter the First Course Phase of this study and complete up to 35 doses or more every 3 weeks (Q3W) or 17 doses or more every 6 weeks (Q6W) of study treatment with pembrolizumab or a pembrolizumab-based combination or lenvatinib according to arm assignment. Participants who were in the Follow-up Phase in the parent study (post-treatment or Survival Follow-up Phase) will enter the Survival Follow-up Phase of this study. Participants who were in the Second Course Phase in their parent study will enter Second Course Phase of this study and complete up to 17 doses Q3W or 8 doses Q6W of study treatment with pembrolizumab or a pembrolizumab-based combination according to arm assignment. Any participant originating from a parent trial where crossover to pembrolizumab was permitted upon disease progression may be eligible for 35 doses as Q3W or 17 doses Q6W of pembrolizumab (approximately 2 years), if they progress while on the control arm and pembrolizumab is approved for the indication in the country where the potential eligible crossover participant is being evaluated.
The purpose of this study is to assess the impact and safety of itacitinib in combination with calcineurin inhibitor (CNI)-based interventions for the prophylaxis of graft-versus-host-disease (GVHD).
Hematologic malignancies are neoplasms that affect the blood, bone marrow, and lymph nodes. Hematological malignancies are the most common forms of leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma, with numerous subtypes. The general symptoms of leukemia are fatigue, increased susceptibility to infection, bleeding, and the formation of bruises easily. Typical lymphoma symptoms are night sweats and involuntary weight loss, recurrent fever, fatigue, and itching. Myeloma patients often have bone pain, fatigue, anemia, hypercalcemia or infection symptoms. Adverse effects of hematologic malignancies and treatments cause abnormality in physical function and quality of life. Treatments such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, which may have side effects on the body systems are used in early or late period. The most common side effect due to chemotherapy is fatigue. Vomiting, weight loss, anemia, depression, decreased aerobic capacity, loss of muscle strength, decreased physical functioning and deterioration in the quality of life are indirect side effects seen in patients. In the literature, side effects of hematological malignancies have been investigated after treatment in patients. However, no study investigated exercise capacity, quality of life, physical activity level and pulmonary functions on newly diagnosed hematologic malignant patients. Therefore, the investigators aimed to compare aforementioned outcomes in newly diagnosed hematologic malignant patients and healthy controls.
This is an open-label, Phase I, dose-escalation study to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and/or recommended phase two dose (RPTD), and evaluate the safety, efficacy, and pharmacokinetic (PK) profile of ABBV-621 for participants with previously-treated solid tumors or hematologic malignancies. Only chemotherapy combination (ABBV-621 + FOLFIRI) enrolling participants with RAS-mutant CRC who have received one prior line of therapy is open for enrollment.
This is a single institution phase II study of a reduced intensity conditioning (RIC) followed by a haploidentical hematopoietic cell transplant (haplo-HCT) in persons with diagnosis of hematologic malignancy. Conditioning will consists of fludarabine, cyclophosphamide, melphalan and total body irradiation (TBI) preparative regimen with a melphalan dose reduction for patients ≥55 years old and those with HCT Comorbidity Index (CI) >3. This study uses a two-stage phase II design with accrual goal of 84 patients, using 28 patients separately for arms A, C and D
This is an open-label, dose escalation Phase I study to evaluate the tolerability and efficacy of single agent of Nivolumab as maintenance treatment to prevent relapse in patients with hematologic malignancies after allogeneic stem cell transplantation. Approximately 29 patients will be enrolled, where about 6-12 patients will be included on the dose escalation phase and 20 patients will be on the expansion cohort at maximal tolerated dose.
This is a prospective, multi-center, controlled, randomized, non-inferiority study to evaluate the clinical effectiveness of Conventional versus Mirasol-treated apheresis platelets in subjects with hypoproliferative thrombocytopenia who are expected to have platelet count(s) ≤ 10,000/μL requiring ≥ 2 platelet transfusions.
This study will determine the Maximal Tolerated Dose if any and the recommended dose for phase 2 of monalizumab, a monoclonal antibody directed against the CD94/NKG2A receptor, after allogenic stem cell transplantation. All patients will receive one single intravenous administration of one of the four doses of monalizumab.
