Filter by:Study BOS161721-01 is a randomized, single center, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial conducted to study the safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamics (PD) of single ascending intravenous (IV) and subcutaneous (SC) doses of BOS161721 or placebo in healthy adult male and female participants.
The purpose of this pilot study is to evaluate allergen-induced nasal airway inflammation following nasal application of felis domesticus, or cat, extract in e-cigarette users, cigarette smokers, and non-smokers.
A multi-center, open-label, single-arm clinical study to assess effects of a 5-day regimen of 10 micrograms per kilogram (mcg/kg) of tbo-filgrastim administered subcutaneously daily on the mobilization of cluster of differentiation 34+ (CD34+) cells in at least 60 healthy male and female participants. This study will help to elucidate the treatment sites in the extremities and pelvis for which MR-guided HIFU heating is feasible, which has the potential to be beneficial for patients with conditions at those sites (soft tissue sarcoma, cervical cancer, etc.). The investigators anticipate that successful completion of this study will lead to clinical trials in those feasible sites of interest to determine the safety and efficacy of administering therapeutic levels of heat for hyperthermia or other applications.
The Investigator hypothesizes that the currently used dose of dietary ingredient alpha-cyclodextrin (α-CD) will result in greater loss of dietary fat in the stool compared with placebo. The proposed studies will address the degree to which α-CD increases dietary fat loss. The Investigator will conduct the study and analyze the samples at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
