Intracavitary brachytherapy for gynaecological cancer currently use cylinder-type applicators or custom wax moulds to place a radioactive source in close proximity to the treatment area and provide highly conformal dose distributions. This study is a Phase IIa non-randomised interventional pilot trial that will investigate the feasibility of successfully treating patients with 3D-printed custom applicators.

Pelvic Floor Dysfunction and Aerobic Training in Gynecological Cancer

The incidence of gynecological cancer and the related death rates in the world are increasing every year. Unfortunately, pelvic floor disorders (PFDs) such as pelvic pain, dyspareunia, vaginal stenosis, and urinary incontinence can result from specific cancer treatments. Our aim in our study is to examine the effects of aerobic exercise training in addition to pelvic floor muscle training on pelvic floor dysfunction symptoms, pelvic floor muscle strength and endurance, quality of life, functional capacity and fatigue in women surviving gynecological cancer with pelvic floor dysfunction. Patients diagnosed with gynecological cancer and undergoing treatment will be invited to our research. Patients who meet the inclusion criteria and agree to participate will be divided into two groups as Pelvic Floor Muscle Training (PFMT) and PFMT+Aerobic Exercise by block randomization method. For evaluation,We will use the Pelvic Floor Distress Inventory (PTDE-20), Pelvic Floor Impact Scale with digital palpation, EORTC QLQ-C30, 6 Minute Walk Test and Piper Fatigue Scale.

Palliative Radiotherapy in Symptomatic Pelvic Soft Tissue Tumors

PALLSOFT is a randomized, open-label, non-inferiority phase III, multicenter, national trial that will investigate whether the patient-reported symptomatic effect of palliative radiotherapy delivered in 1-2 fractions is non-inferior to palliative radiotherapy delivered in five fractions in patients with pelvic soft tissue tumors from either gastrointestinal, urological or gynecological cancer. Health-related quality of life, toxicities, survival and prognostic and predictive biomarkers will be assessed as secondary and explorative endpoints.

Stress Management Intervention Among Breast and Gynecologic Cancer Patients in Viet Nam

Psychological distress is common among Vietnamese cancer patients but often underestimated and not detected by professionals due to lack of time and overload of clinical work. Currently no established, evidence-based intervention exists to help address the mental health needs of cancer patients in Viet Nam besides the 'Stronger Together' peer mentoring intervention model that the investigators piloted in 2021-2023. The goal of this 2-arm, parallel, single-blind randomized controlled trial (RCT) is to pilot and evaluate the Vietnamese Self Help Plus (vSH+) stress management intervention among breast and gynecologic cancer patients in Viet Nam. Aim 1- the investigators pilot the adapted vSH+ intervention. After recruitment and screening, participants are randomized into either the intervention (vSH+) or enhanced usual care (EUC) study arms. Participants are invited to attend an in-person informational session (IS) specific to their study arm, where informed consent is obtained. Aim 2- the investigators assess the potential effectiveness of the vSH+ intervention. Quantitative surveys of study outcomes measures are administered at three timepoints: T0 (baseline, in-person, during info-sessions); T1 (1-2 weeks post-intervention, via phone); and T2 (3 months post-intervention, via phone). Aim 3- the investigators conduct a qualitative process evaluation, via in-depth interview (IDIs) and focus group discussions (FGDs), to assess the acceptability and feasibility implementing and scaling up the vSH+ intervention model. Satisfaction surveys will be administered during vSH+ sessions and in-depth interviews (IDIs) will be conducted following the conclusion of the intervention. IDIs wil also be conducted with Facilitators, in addition to evaluation surveys during vSH+ sessions and supportive supervision sessions. Between T1 and T2, the investigators will conduct IDIs with Healthcare Workers and focus group discussions with Caregivers.

GynRAN is an international, multicentre, transversal, diagnostic and non-interventional study carried out in gynecology-obstetrics/gynecological oncology departments that aims to identify a diagnostic signature for gynecological pathologies by analyzing of coding and non-coding RNA contained in patients saliva. The study population consists of patients with clinically symptomatic females with one or more of the gynecological pathologies (endometriosis, adenomyosis, ovarian cysts, fibroids, ovarian/cervical/uterine cancer) and asymptomatic females. The patients concerned by the study will be managed without modification of the care pathway, nor modification of the therapeutic indications, nor modification of the diagnostic or follow-up examinations necessary according to the context, which are carried out according to the local recommendations.

The Effect of Constructivist Learning Model Based Gynecological Cancer Education

This is a randomised controlled study.The study was conducted to determine the effect of the constructivist education model given to women on gynecological cancer awareness, health Anxiety and spiritual well-being in women . The study population was composed of women living in Kastamonu. Women will be assigned to control and experimental groups. Women in the control group will receive gynecological education from Cancer Early Diagnosis, Screening and Education Centers (KETEM). The other group will receive gynecological cancer education based on the constructivist model.The hypotheses of the study are as follows: H0: The of constructivist learning model -based health education programme does not have an effect on gynecologic cancer awareness, spiritual well-being and health anxiety.
