The study is a randomised group trial where half the patients receive intensive weight loss in the form of meal replacement from Cambridge as well as supervision from a clinical dietician and the other half get usual care.

First, this study will evaluate, in vitro, the cellular composition of the synovial fluid from patient with rheumatoid arthritis, gout or osteoarthritis. This study evaluates the addition of a structured nurse led patient management programme to standard of care in gout patients. Half of the patient will receive the nurse led programme in addition to standard of care and the other half will receive standard of care only.
This initial clinical study in the US will be a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, single-dose, dose-escalation, and sequential cohort study to evaluate the safety, tolerability, PK and PD of D-0120-NA in fasting, healthy volunteers (HVs). In food effect cohort, subjects will each receive 2 doses of D-0120-NA in an open-label manner; once in the fasted state and once in the fed state.
