Weight Loss for Obese Individuals With Gout

This study evaluates effect of weight loss in a group of obese patients with gouty arthritis. The study is a randomised group trial where half the patients receive intensive weight loss in the form of meal replacement from Cambridge as well as supervision from a clinical dietician and the other half get usual care.

Then samples will be test with a new format of bispecific antibody targeting dendritic cells. The production of IL-10 will be the principal criteria of judgment. Production of others cytokines like IL-1B, IL-6, IL-12 and IFN will be checked as well.

In food effect cohort, subjects will each receive 2 doses of D-0120-NA in an open-label manner; once in the fasted state and once in the fed state.
