NCT ID: NCT05688020 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Esophageal Neoplasms

Tranexamic Acid During Upper GI Endoscopic Resection Procedures

Start date: February 1, 2023
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Endoscopic resection of gastrointestinal lesions may prevent cancer. However, resection is associated with adverse events such as bleeding. Tranexamic acid (TXA) is a synthetic derivative of lysine that exerts antifibrinolytic effects and may prevent bleeding. The investigators aim to evaluate the effect of local TXA on preventing intraprocedural and postprocedural bleeding in patients undergoing endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) of upper gastrointestinal lesions.

NCT ID: NCT05405530 Recruiting - Gastric Cancer Clinical Trials

Nasal Mask Kit in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy

NASO
Start date: September 1, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Hypoxia is the most common adverse event in gastrointestinal endoscopes sedated with propofol. The nasal mask oxygen kit has good sealing to ensure an adequate oxygen supply and is convenient and economical. The aim of this randomized study was to determine whether the nasal mask oxygen kit reduces the incidence of hypoxia in gastrointestinal endoscopes procedures.

NCT ID: NCT03065257 Recruiting - Gastric Cancer Clinical Trials

Endoscopic Resection Multicenter Registry

Start date: March 15, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

This is a retrospective and prospective multicenter registry to collect long-term data (1 year) on patients who have or will undergo Endoscopic resection such as EMR, ESD, EFTR, STER, etc. within the gastrointestinal tract for endoscopic treatment of early gastrointestinal neoplasms involving the resection of the superficial layers, mucosa and submucosa, of the tract wall. Subjects will be consented for medical chart review. The purpose of this retrospective and prospective registry is to assess long term data on efficacy, safety and clinical outcome of Endoscopic Resection within the gastrointestinal tract (1 year). The registry will evaluate efficacy, technical feasibility, clinical outcome, safety profile and overall clinical management through medical chart review. The procedures the investigators are evaluating are all clinically indicated and will not be prescribed to someone to participate in this registry study.
