NCT ID: NCT02900248 Terminated - Multiple Myeloma Clinical Trials

CureOne Registry: Advanced Malignancy or Myelodysplasia, Tested by Standard Sequencing and Treated by Physician Choice

N1
Start date: October 2, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Registry participants with advanced malignancy or myelodysplasia will have a sample of their tumor or tissue analysed for genetic alterations using next generation sequencing (NGS) performed in a lab that has been certified to meet a high quality standard. Treatments and outcomes will be reported to the registry to allow further understanding of how genetic differences can lead to better diagnosis and treatments.

NCT ID: NCT02488746 Terminated - Clinical trials for Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors

Endoscopic Full Thickness Resection of Gastric Subepithelial Tumors (FROST)

Start date: March 2015
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

Prospective observational trial. A full thickness resection of gastric subepithelial tumors is performed after application of full thickness sutures underneath the tumor with the GERDX(TM) device. Hypothesis: This endoscopic method is feasible, effective and safe.

NCT ID: NCT02005809 Recruiting - Gastric Neoplasms Clinical Trials

Clinical Impact of Second-look Endoscopy After Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection of Gastric Neoplasm

SLEGD
Start date: March 2013
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Gastroenterologists often follow up second look endoscopy after endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD) of gastric neoplasms because they want to prevent bleeding of procedure sites. But Goto suggested in his retrospective analysis that a second-look endoscopy after endoscopic submucosal dissection for gastric epithelial neoplasm may be unnecessary. So, the investigators try to identify the hypothesis prospectively in this study.

NCT ID: NCT01915225 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Colorectal Neoplasms

Obtaining Solid Tumor Tissue From People Having Biopsy or Surgery for Certain Types of Cancer

Start date: July 21, 2013
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Background: - Recent advances in cancer research have led to new therapies to treat the disease. It is important to continue these advances and discover new ones. To do that, researchers need tissue samples from solid tumors. This study will collect such samples from people already scheduled to have a procedure at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center (NIHCC). Objectives: - To collect tissue samples for use in studying new ways to treat tumors. Eligibility: - Adults 18 years and older, with a precancerous or cancerous solid tumor who are scheduled to have surgery or a biopsy at the NIHCC. - Children under the age of 18 but who are older than 2 years of age are eligible to be enrolled on the research sample collection portion of this study if they will have a biopsy or surgery as part of their medical care. Design: - Before their procedure, participants will have a small blood sample taken. - Some participants will undergo leukapheresis. In this procedure, blood is removed through a tube in one arm and circulated through a machine that removes white blood cells. The blood, minus the white blood cells, is returned through a tube in the other arm. The procedure takes 3-4 hours. - For all participants, during the surgery or biopsy, pieces of the tumor and pieces of normal tissue near it will be removed for this study. The rest of the tumor or precancerous growth will be sent to a lab for analysis. - Participants will return to the clinic about 6 weeks after the operation for a routine checkup. Some may have to return for additional follow-up.

NCT ID: NCT01614522 Completed - Gastric Cancer Clinical Trials

A Clinical Trial Evaluating the Effect of ASLAN001 in Patients With Recurrent/Metastatic Gastric Cancer Whose Tumors Are Either HER-2 Amplified or Co-expressing HER-1 and HER-2

Start date: March 2012
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine whether ASLAN001 has an effect in patients with recurrent or metastatic adenocarcinoma of the stomach, gastrooesophageal junction, or lower third of the oesophagus whose tumours over-express HER-1 and HER-2, or whose tumours are HER-2 gene-amplified. Maximum of 26 patients will participate in South Korea and the patients will be assigned to either group A or group B according to the results of tests done on tumor tissue obtained by biopsy to determine HER-1 and HER-2 status.

NCT ID: NCT01166490 Completed - Clinical trials for Pancreatic Neoplasms

A Phase 1 Dose Escalation Trial of ASG-5ME in Pancreatic or Gastric Adenocarcinoma

Start date: July 2010
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is a phase 1, open-label, dose-escalation clinical trial to evaluate the safety and tolerability of ASG-5ME and identify the maximum tolerated dose in patients with pathologically confirmed metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma, and to evaluate safety and tolerability in patients with relapsed or refractory gastric adenocarcinoma.
