NCT ID: NCT06160245 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Forward Head Posture

CORE STABILIZATION EXERCISES IN FORWARD HEAD POSTURE

Start date: December 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Based on the reviewed literature, Core Stabilization Exercises (CSEs) have been shown to have positive effects on patients with low back pain. To our knowledge, very few studies have examined the impact of CSEs on neck pain, particularly in patients with forward head posture (FHP), despite that several authors suggested that FHP may be caused by lumbopelvic malalignment. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to assess how CSEs may affect the cervical sagittal balance parameters (CSB) in patient with FHP.

NCT ID: NCT06123351 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Temporomandibular Disorder

Forward Head Posture Correction Impact on Temporomandibular Dysfunction

Start date: October 2025
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical trial is to test the effect of nerd neck correction on damaged jaw in people who suffers from jaw problems and nerd neck. The main question it aims to answer: - whether there are different effects of traditional nerd neck correction exercises, device correction method and dental splints on jaw features of pain and function. Participants will: - participants will be given the consent to sign first. - participants will be assessed to check jaw pain and function. - participants will be divided randomly into 3 groups. - Each group will be given the treatment sessions for 6 weeks. - participants will come back after 6 weeks for one last assessment. Researchers will compare traditional, new and dental treatment groups to see if there is improvement in jaw characteristics.

NCT ID: NCT06012292 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Forward Head Posture

Effect of Mobile Phone Addiction With Forward Head Posture on Pain and Cervical Functions

FHP
Start date: August 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

to investigate the effect of mobile phone addiction with forward head posture on the endurance of deep neck flexor muscles, respiratory functions, pain pressure threshold , and neck functional disability level.

NCT ID: NCT05533853 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Forward Head Posture

Different Methods of Forward Head Posture Correction

Start date: September 10, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of the study is to compare various methods of correcting forward head posture in elderly subjects. In particular, we will contrast two methods: the conventional program, which aims to restore muscle balance, and the Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP) rehabilitation program, which relies on stretching the viscous and plastic elements of the longitudinal ligament and intervertebral disc in addition to effectively stretching the soft tissue throughout the entire body.

NCT ID: NCT05149183 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Forward Head Posture

Effect of Cervical Stability Training on Somatosensory Evoked Potential and Cervical Spine in Forward Head Posture

FHP
Start date: December 15, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

to investigate the effect of cervical stability training on somatosensory evoked potential and cervical spine in forward head posture

NCT ID: NCT05103111 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Forward Head Posture

Effect of FHP on TMJ Proprioception in Postmenopausal Women

Start date: November 15, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

anterior protrusion of head in relation to the trunk; It has a high prevalence among old women as increased age is associated with a reduced cervical range of motion (ROM), greater thoracic kyphosis which is associated with greater cervical flexion and greater forward head posture accompanying with greater deficits in cervical ROM of flexion and rotation. So, the aim of the study is to determine the effect of forward head posture on temporomandibular joint proprioception in postmenopausal women

NCT ID: NCT04959942 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Forward Head Posture

Efficacy of Adding Scapular Stabilization Exercises to Postural Correctional Exercises on on Forward Head Posture

FHP
Start date: July 15, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to investigate efficacy of adding Scapular Stabilization Exercises to postural correctional exercises on Endurance of cervical flexor and extensor muscles on Asymptomatic forward head posture.

NCT ID: NCT03778034 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Forward Head Posture

Effect of Forward Head Posture(FHP)on Temopromandibular Joint (TMJ) Proprioception in Post-pubertal Females

Start date: October 1, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

No studies up to date has been evaluated the effect of FHP on TMJ proprioception. Therefore, this study will be the first one which aims to investigate the effect of FHP on TMJ proprioception in post-pubertal females
