Plantar Fasciitis Management on Postural Control

Foot pain is common in the general population. Plantar fasciopathy may affect 7% of the population at some time in their lives, but the incidence increases with age. This plantar problem is characterized by severe pain under the foot (at plantar level), which can be very incapacitating and disabling. This can lead to absenteeism from work, particularly for employees working in a standing posture. Various therapeutic avenues can be used to reduce pain and improve functionality, such as physiotherapy, infiltrations and surgery. In this research project, the propose the use of a conservative approach through the use of foot orthoses, which appears to be effective in reducing pain. The aim of the study is thus to better understand the effect of foot orthoses on postural balance and walking in workers with plantar fasciopathy. Participants will be assessed at baseline and eight weeks later to observe measured changes and clinical improvements following orthotic wear. Balance and gait pattern will be assessed using technological tools that have been validated in this respect. Participants will also be asked about their pain intensity. The hypothesis is that wearing the orthosis will improve the participants' balance and walking abilities, as well as reduce the level or intensity of their pain. In addition, this study could have an impact on the rate of absenteeism from work from current context of labour shortages.

A phase 2a multicenter, randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled clinical trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of topical nitric oxide releasing solution (NORS) for the treatment of human papillomavirus (HPV) caused verrucae plantaris (plantar warts). Participants will be treated over a 21 day period with a final evaluation on Day 35. They will be separated into 3 treatment groups (placebo, 1x and 2x dose). Participants will be evaluated for change in wart size, wart clearance, and HPV genotype.

Ambispective, Multicentre, Open-label Study Evaluating the Clinical Outcomes of Foot Surgery Using SERF Medical Devices

This clinical investigation was led as a post-marketing clinical follow-up study conducted as part of standard care with an additional, non-invasive, non-invasive procedure (Case 4.1) ambispective, multicentre, open-label, non-comparative. The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the reduction in patient pain and the restoration of walking. The study will also collect performance and safety data to assess the subject's outcomes and functional status. The target population for this study was any adult patient implanted with FAST screws, FAST plates, Toe FAST and VEOFIX screws between november 2021 and october 2022. The investigation will be conducted in accordance with the investigation protocol, the laws and regulations (including the Medical regulations (including the Medical Devices Regulation 2017/745) and the ISO 14155:2020, as well as in accordance with the ethical principles described in the Declaration of Helsinki. The collection of personal data will also be compliant with RGPD 2016/679.
