NCT ID: NCT06353490 Active, not recruiting - Healthy Clinical Trials

The Clinical Performance Validation of Electronic Thermometer and Infrared Thermometers

Start date: August 12, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Geon Corporation develops ear thermometers and forehead thermometers that use infrared measurement technology to measure human body temperature. This study verify the accuracy and repeatability of investigational devices. Efficacy verification is carried out by comparing with the referent medical devices. The main objectives of this study are: 1. To verify that the investigational devices and the reference medical devices have a reasonable deviation value. 2. To verify the consistency of repeated measurements of investigational devices.

NCT ID: NCT04727801 Terminated - Febrile Clinical Trials

A Clinical Data Collection Study of Verily Patch

Start date: March 11, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This is a single center, prospective, non-randomized prospective observational data collection study of the Verily Patch. The Verily Patch is an investigational wearable, continuous temperature sensor which will be evaluated against reference oral and axillary temperature measurements to support development activities for the Verily Patch.

NCT ID: NCT01714570 Completed - Neutropenia Clinical Trials

Piperacillin/Tazobactam for Empirical Therapy of Febrile Neutropenia

Start date: November 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Neutropenia is very common in patients received hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, with median duration of about 14 days. In 2010 update, IDSA recommended Piperacillin/tazobactam as first-line mono-therapy for febrile patients with neutropenia of high risk. In china, the data of piperacillin/tazobactam for febrile neutropenia after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is very limited. The current study will evaluate the efficacy of piperacillin/tazobactam compared with imipenem/cilastatin for febrile neutropenia after transplantation.

NCT ID: NCT00913042 Completed - Neutropenia Clinical Trials

Assessment of New Blood Culture Methods on the Microbiological Documentation of Febrile Neutropenia

HEMATOCPLUS
Start date: February 2008
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

Febrile neutropenia are microbiologically documented in only 30% of the cases, and almost exclusively by blood cultures. The reasons for this low documentation are likely multiple: (1) some of these fevers are of non-infectious origin. (2) The bacterial inoculum present in the blood may be low and consequently undetectable by conventional blood cultures. The primary objective of the study is to assess new blood culture procedures and technics, in order to improve the diagnostic yield of blood cultures during febrile neutropenic episodes.
