Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study aims at improving knowledge about the diagnosis of growth hormone deficiency (GHD) and treatment with growth hormone (GH), with the goal of providing information on the presence of new biomarkers, such as miRNAs, for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, with the goal of establishing a personalized GH treatment scheme, optimizing resources, reducing costs, and improving outcomes.

NCT ID: NCT06228677 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Primary Aldosteronism

Comparison of Catecholamine Concentrations in Venous Blood During Selective Adrenal Artery Embolization

Start date: September 18, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

To explore the relationship between perioperative blood pressure and catecholamine concentrations in adrenal venous blood and peripheral venous blood in hypertensive patients with primary aldosteronism (PA) who underwent percutaneous selective adrenal artery embolization (SAAE). In order to elucidate the related phenomena and possible mechanisms of blood pressure fluctuations caused by SAAE treatment in hypertensive patients with PA.

NCT ID: NCT06226545 Recruiting - Eye Diseases Clinical Trials

A Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of LASN01 in Patients With Thyroid Eye Disease

Start date: March 5, 2024
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

LASN01 is a novel, fully human antibody directed against the human IL-11 receptor being developed for treatment of patients with thyroid eye disease (TED). The primary and secondary objectives of this study are to evaluate the safety, efficacy, and pharmacokinetics of LASN01 administered IV in patients with TED with no prior anti-IGF-1R treatment or in patients with TED who have previously received teprotumumab treatment.

NCT ID: NCT06112340 Recruiting - Eye Diseases Clinical Trials

A Phase 2b Extension Study of Two Doses of Linsitinib in Subjects With Active, Moderate to Severe Thyroid Eye Disease (TED)

Start date: October 11, 2023
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The overall study objective is to continue to assess the efficacy, safety, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics of linsitinib in subjects who were enrolled in the prior VGN-TED-301 through Week 24. These subjects include VGN-TED-301 Week 24 proptosis non-responders or subjects who relapse during the Follow-Up Period of VGN-TED-301.

NCT ID: NCT06109935 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Growth Hormone Deficiency in Children

Special Use-results Surveillance on Long Term Use of Sogroya® in Children With Short Stature Due to Growth Hormone Deficiency Where Epiphysial Discs Are Not Closed

Start date: October 4, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of the study is to investigate the safety and effectiveness of Sogroya® in children with short stature due to growth hormone deficiency where epiphysial discs are not closed under real-world clinical practice in Japan. The study will last for about 1 year (at shortest) to 3 years (at longest) depending on when the participant takes part in the study. The participant will be asked to answer questionnaire(s) about how they feel about the growth hormone (GH) product treatment once during the study (at about 3 months after starting the Sogroya® treatment) and about 3 months after starting the Sogroya® treatment.

NCT ID: NCT05926115 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Phenotype and Epidemiology of the Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) in Colombia (PEP - Colombia) Study.

PEP-Colombia
Start date: March 4, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The goal of this observational study is to know the prevalence of PCOS among economically productive and reproductive age women from Medellín and the Valle de Aburrá, Colombia. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. What is the phenotypic distribution of PCOS detected in women seeking medical attention as a requirement for employment in Medellín and the Valle de Aburrá, Colombia? 2. What is the effect of environmental factors, such as geographical location and diet, and biological factors (such as obesity and ethnicity/race) on the prevalence and phenotype of PCOS in this populatión? Participants will undergo anthropometric measurements and physical examination for hirsutism, acne, alopecia, acanthosis nigricans, and thyroid enlargement. During the initial visit, a transvaginal or transabdominal pelvic ultrasonography will be performed. A sample of venous blood will be collected in plain tubes for serum cryopreservation and for immediate glucose estimation. Some participants will be rescheduled for a second evaluation visit for additional assessment when they have a possible PCOs.

NCT ID: NCT05726461 Recruiting - Diabetes Mellitus Clinical Trials

Efficacy and Safety of Android Artificial Pancreas System in Adult Patients With Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus in China

Start date: February 11, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is a 26-week randomized, free-living, open-label, two-arm, two-phase, crossover trial. Participants will receive two interventions at different phases, including the Android artificial pancreas system(AndroidAPS-rt-CGM) and sensor-augment pump(SAP), and use marketed rapid-acting insulin analogs (insulin Aspart, insulin Lispro, or insulin Glulisine) normally used in their usual clinical care. The safety and efficacy of AndroidAPS-rt-CGM and SAP in adult T1DM with suboptimal glycemic control will be compared to explore whether the use of AndroidAPS-rt-CGM in adult T1DM with suboptimal glycemic control will be associated with better glycemic control with no increased hypoglycemia.
