This was a randomized controlled trial study where there the total participants were 22and these participants were randomly selected and then distributed in to two groups all participants were selected according to the inclusion exclusion criteria of the study and then they were randomly distributed in two groups named as group A and group B both of the contain equal number of participants which are randomly distributed in groups each group contain 11 participants .Group A received the vestibular stimulation by swing in different positions supine, prone and with or without support in each position for 10minnts 3 times a week for 10 weeks along with general strengthening exercises of upper and lower limb and group B will receive general strengthening exercises of whole body for same time period. Data will be then analyzed by using SPSS windows version 25

Treadmill Training With and Without Weighted Ankle Cuffs on Gait Parameters

Down syndrome is a condition in which a person has an extra chromosome. Chromosomes are small "packages" of genes in the body. Down syndrome (DS), also known as trisomy 21, is caused by the presence of all or part of a third copy of chromosome 21. It is named after John Langdon Down, the British physician who described the syndrome for the first time in 1866.Down syndrome remains the most common chromosomal condition diagnosed in the United States. Current study will be randomized controlled trial. Study will be approved by ethical committee. After that informed consent will be taken and patients will be included in the study based on the inclusion criteria. Sampling technique will be simple random sampling the calculated sample sizes will be 25 in each group. All participants will be divided in two groups. One group will receive treadmill training with Weighted Ankle Cuffs and second group will receive treadmill training only. Conventional therapy will be given to both groups which include isometric, strengthening exercise and trunk exercise. The exercise was given for 10 repetitions/session. Infants will receive the treadmill training protocol about 6 min/day, 4 day/week at a belt speed of 0.18m/sec. After taking informed consent baseline measurement will be taken through gait assessment rating scale and Berg balance scale for balance and Gait parameters respectively. Data will be collected before treatment and after 6 weeks. Treatment session will be performed for 1 hour per day, 4 days a week for total of 6 weeks. The difference in improvement before and after 4th weeks will be noted and compared through SPSS 26.0.

Video Based Breathing Exercise Rehabilitation

The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of video game-based lung volume increasing training on respiratory mechanics in children with developmental delays. Individuals with special needs are people who, for various reasons, show significant awareness at the level expected from their peers in terms of their individual characteristics and educational qualifications. Individuals with special needs constitute an important part of our country. Children with special needs may have respiratory problems that may or may not be recognized because they are not diagnosed, as well as decreases in respiratory capacity. Decrease in lung volumes may be encountered in children with special needs with various diagnoses such as neuromuscular diseases, cerebral palsy, cystic fibrosis, autism, and Down syndrome. Pulmonary rehabilitation is a multidisciplinary program that balances or reverses the physiopsychopathology of pulmonary disorders and tries to help the patient reach high functional capacity as much as his physical condition and pulmonary disability allow. Chest physiotherapy, which is an important step of pulmonary rehabilitation, is a rehabilitation intervention used to reduce airway resistance, improve gas exchange and facilitate breathing in children. Active video game systems produced with the development of new technologies are used for the positive progression of rehabilitation, especially in young individuals who are extensive users of digital devices. For children who need a pulmonary rehabilitation program, active video game systems are preferred in the clinic as they increase the compatibility of the sessions and ensure continuity.

Effects of Active Video Gaming on Pre-handwriting Skills of Children With Down Syndrome.

Down's syndrome is a genetic disorder caused by trisomy 21. Down's syndrome is most common genetic mental disability that affects children physically, mentally and functionally. It occurs due to an extra copy of chromosome 21. It involves a slightly flattened facial profile, low muscle tone upward-slanted eyes, and ligamentous laxity. Central hypotonia, mental retardation and short stature are very common features of children with down's syndrome. Children with down's syndrome are characterized by awkward movements, gait, increased flexibility of joints, timing of mastering of basic skills and , under-development of fine motor skills. Active video gaming used different games that involve interactive session that can enhance cortical recognition, motor learning and functional profile of children with DS. The objective of this study is to determine the effects of active video gaming on pre-hand writing skills of children with down's syndrome. This will be a RCT(Randomized Controlled Trial).The sample size was 18 and the study design was a case-control trial. The inclusion criteria are children with down syndrome age 6 to 12 years both male and female patients are randomly selected and children with poor pre-hand writing skills. And the exclusion criteria for this study is children with any other neurological condition like (epilepsy, instability of atlantoaxial joints, cardiac anomalies,) vision, and hearing loss. Two groups were randomly assigned and equally divided patients into each group. Group A received pre-handwriting skills, like tracing alphabets and numbers, scribbling, coloring, painting, and group B received active video gaming and prehandwriting skills. For measuring each group developmental coordination disorder questionnaire tool is used. The session will be taken 30 mins thrice a week for (8consecutive weeks). Data collected from different centers, Raising sun institute of special education. Autism resource center Lahore. SPSS for Windows software, version 25 will be used to analyze the data using statistical Significance p=0.05. The Shapiro-Wilk test will be used to check the normality of data. Effects of Simulated Equestrian Therapy on Motor Proficiency and Gait Parameters Among Down Syndrome Children

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) and United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), one billion people suffer from physical and mental disabilities, with 240 million children. Whereas 26.4 million belong to Asia, and approximately 5 million are from Pakistan. The Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports developmental disorders as one of the leading causes of these disabilities. Several conditions are classified under this domain, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Down syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy. Down syndrome (DS) has recently emerged as a prevailing condition in low-and middle-income countries, with an incidence of 1 in every 300 babies. DS is a genetic disorder due to the triplication of all or some parts of the 21st chromosome. Various problems characterize this disability, including; compromised motor skills proficiency and altered gait parameters. These deficits have been addressed using numerous effective techniques, one of which is 'Simulated Equestrian Therapy'. Despite advances in rehabilitating DS patients, a scarcity of literature still surfaces regarding using these simulators and their effects. To our knowledge, no study in Pakistan has been conducted to evaluate motor proficiency and gait parameters in the DS population using this intervention. Therefore, the present study is aimed to assess the effects of simulated equestrian therapy on motor proficiency and gait parameters in DS children.
