NCT ID: NCT06359847 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Differentiated Thyroid Carcinoma

Study of ST-1898 in Locally Advanced or Metastatic Radioiodine-Refractory Differentiated Thyroid Cancer

Start date: November 15, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

ST-1898, a multi-targeted tyrosine kinase inhibitor, has demonstrated strong inhibitory activity for VEGFR2, c-MET, AXL, PDGFRA, RET, KIT, etc. The primary purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of ST-1898 tablets in patients with locally advanced or metastatic RAIR-DTC after failure of at least first-line TKI systemic therapy. All subjects will receive ST-1898 180 mg orally once daily until disease progression or intolerable toxicity.

NCT ID: NCT04970134 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma

Spanish Study for Molecular Characterization of Thyroid Carcinoma

MOLTHY
Start date: June 14, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This project is a retrospective observational study based on the molecular characterization of a Spanish population of patients with refractory radio-iodine differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) and medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) with advanced and / or metastatic disease undergoing systemic treatment, or under clinical observation. Three diagnostic techniques will be performed on formalin-fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tumor samples from the study population: immunohistochemistry (IHC), fluorescence by in situ hybridization (FISH) as well as Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) techniques by means of DNA and RNA analysis (Ion Platform Torrent - Oncomine Focus Assay, 52 gene detection). The results of each patient will be compared in order to correlate the results of each method.

NCT ID: NCT04916262 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Differentiated Thyroid Carcinoma

Correlation Between TCM Syndrome Factors and TSH Changes of Thyroid Hormone Withdrawal Before Iodine Therapy in Postoperative Patients With Thyroid Cancer

Start date: June 20, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to make a dialectical classification of patients who will receive 131I treatment after operation of thyroid cancer from the point of view of dialectics of syndrome elements of traditional Chinese medicine. By observing the changes of TSH among patients with different syndrome types, investigators can better understand the reasons for the differences in TSH changes among patients. Thus, it provides a basis for putting forward the scheme of stopping taking levothyroxine before iodine treatment, improving the quality of life of patients after radical thyroidectomy, and providing reference for individualized guidance of the timing of radioactive iodine therapy for patients after DTC.

NCT ID: NCT03845647 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Lymph Node Metastases

Significance of Contralateral Central Lymph Node Dissection in Unilateral cN0 Differentiated Thyroid Carcinoma.

Start date: February 1, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

There are so many contradictions over central lymph node dissection in unilateral cN0(Clinically N0) differentiated thyroid carcinoma. In order to provides a new theoretical basis for the operation of central lymph node in cN0(Clinically N0) differentiated thyroid cancer, researchers are going to complete this study to evaluate the significance of contralateral central lymph node dissection in unilateral cN0(Clinically N0) differentiated thyroid carcinoma. At the same time,it may play a certain impact on the revision of surgical guidelines for differentiated thyroid cancer.

NCT ID: NCT03776123 Completed - Clinical trials for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Post-marketing Surveillance on the Safety of CabometyxTM in Korean Patients

Start date: May 15, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The objective of this Post Marketing Surveillance (PMS) is to collect and describe safety and effectiveness profile of Cabometyx™ in real clinical practice setting, according to the approved labelling after the approval of marketing authorization.

NCT ID: NCT03167385 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Differentiated Thyroid Carcinoma

Phase 2 Trial of Apatinib Mesylate in Locally Advanced/Metastatic Differentiated Thyroid Carcinoma

Start date: March 22, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a non-randomized, phase II, open label study of Apatinib Mesylate in patients with with locally advanced or metastatic differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC). The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of apatinib in patients with locally advanced or metastatic differentiated thyroid carcinoma.

NCT ID: NCT00251316 Completed - Thyroid Cancer Clinical Trials

Effect of Lithium Carbonate on Low-Dose Radioiodine Therapy in Early Thyroid Cancer

Start date: November 2005
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study will examine the safety and effectiveness of using lithium, which has been used to enhance the effectiveness of high-dose 131I, with a single low dose (30 mCi) of 131I for thyroid ablation in patients with recently diagnosed papillary or follicular thyroid cancer who have had their thyroid gland removed and whose cancer has not spread beyond the thyroid. Participants are randomly assigned to receive lithium capsules or placebo (look-alike capsules with no active ingredient). They follow a low-iodine diet for 2 weeks before starting treatment and are then admitted to the NIH Clinical Center for study and treatment for 11 days, during which they remain on the low-iodine diet. Blood samples are collected almost every day to analyze thyroid hormones, kidney and liver function, lithium concentrations and other tests.
