Filter by:Purpose of the Study:This study was to evaluate the 1 week, 1 year safety and effectiveness of dental composite resin (Filtek™ Bulk Fill Posterior Restorative) in restoring Class I and II dental cavities in posterior teeth.
The aim of this study is to evaluate the clinical performance of Filtek Bulk Fill Posterior Restorative in Class I and Class II restorations compared to the conventional incremental technique using Filtek Z350XT over the period of 2 years. The null hypothesis of this study is that the bulk-fill composite will exhibit same result and clinical performance as conventional composite using incremental technique which has been used widely by dentists nowadays.
This study will evaluate the clinical performance of glass carbomer cement restorations in restoring proximal lesions in primary molars compared to that of resin modified glass ionomer cement and composite resin restorations. Teeth will be randomly assigned to one of the three restoration groups and the restorations will be evaluated clinically and radiographically every six months.
The aim of this clinical trial was to compare the clinical performances of a glass ionomer restorative system with a micro hybrid resin based composite in extended sized class II cavities. A total of 100 class 2 lesions were restored with a glass ionomer restorative system (Equia Forte) or a micro hybrid composite (G-aenial Posterior). Restorations were evaluated at baseline and yearly during 6 years according to the modified-USPHS criteria. Data were analyzed with Cohcran's Q and McNemar's tests (p<0.05).
