NCT ID: NCT05873699 Recruiting - Pancreatic Cyst Clinical Trials

Study Using Hyperpolarized 13C-Pyruvate Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopic Imaging in Patients With Pancreatic Cysts Undergoing Surgical Resection

Start date: August 18, 2023
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

To learn if Hyperpolarized C-Pyruvate Magnetic Resonance (HP-MR) Spectroscopic Imaging can help doctors detect low-risk (benign) and high-risk (malignant) cysts.

NCT ID: NCT05873673 Not yet recruiting - Cyst, Jaw Clinical Trials

Coenzyme Q10 and Dentoalveolar Cyst

Start date: June 11, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

10 patients in each group will undergo cyst removal under local anesthesia. After cyst removal, the cystic cavity will be filled with placebo gel in the control group or coenzyme gel in the coenzyme group. Bone density and volume will be assessed by cone beam CT immediately postoperative and 6months later for all patients

NCT ID: NCT05839678 Recruiting - Cysts Clinical Trials

Multicenter trial about anterior mediastinal cysts

NCT ID: NCT05798936 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Benign Thyroid Nodule

Comparative Study of Polidocanol and Absolute Alcohol for Percutaneous us Guided Treatment of Benign Thyroid Cyst

Start date: April 1, 2023
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

This study aims to compare the efficacy and safety of ultrasound-guided percutaneous ethanol injection and percutaneous polidocanol injection for the treatment of benign cystic and predominantly cystic thyroid nodules.

NCT ID: NCT05658900 Recruiting - Jaw Cysts Clinical Trials

Volumetric Analysis of Bone Following Jaw Cysts Enucleation With and Without Alb-PRF

Start date: May 19, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Cyst is the main cause for longstanding swelling in the mandible or the maxilla, its enlargement usually results in resorption and weakening of bone. Thus the treatment of the cysts is essential to preserve the bone and the adjacent vital structures. Healing of the bone defect and its surrounding soft tissues is a critical issue that needs concerns. Although the Platelet rich fibrin has promising effects in wound healing, it can resorb during 10-14 days. Thus a new autologous platelet concentrate is introduced by Kawasi et al that can remain stable for 4-6 months called albumin PRF.

NCT ID: NCT05620485 Not yet recruiting - Choledochal Cyst Clinical Trials

Timing of Operation in Children With a Prenatal Diagnosis of Choledochal Cyst

CDCPS
Start date: November 15, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In this prospective study, we tried to select the operation time according to the cyst size and evaluate the treatment effect.

Treatment of Epidermoid Cysts

Start date: November 1, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The objective of this study is to determine the efficacy, safety, tolerability, and patient satisfaction associated with the treatment of epidermoid cysts with injected 1.5% sodium tetradecyl sulfate (STS) foam.

NCT ID: NCT05572788 Recruiting - Pancreatic Cyst Clinical Trials

Rectal Indomethacin to Prevent Acute Pancreatitis in EUS-FNA of Pancreatic Cysts

Start date: September 26, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this randomized trial is to compare the rate of post-procedure pancreatitis in patients undergoing EUS-FNA of pancreatic cysts; patients will receive either a single dose of indomethacin or placebo administered rectally, during EUS-FNA.
