Filter by:Primary endpoint of the study is to evaluate clinically and by non-invasive instrumental evaluations the aesthetic performance, on the third middle and inferior of the face, of "MonoDermà HA Bio-revitalizing gel", an intradermal filler containing hyaluronic acid, combined to a low level laser therapy (LLLT) to obtain a stable photo-cross-linking effect inside the dermis.
The investigators propose utilizing a simple telemedical protocol to allow patients to substitute the first post-operative visit with a remote survey that includes essential post-operative history, vision measurement, and photographs, all of which can be provided using a personal computer, tablet, or smart phone. The investigators have selected for this purpose a subset of oculoplastic procedures involving the eyelid and lacrimal system that have well-reported low rates of serious complications, since high-risk procedures will likely always require close, in-person care. The investigators hypothesize that telemedicine follow-up for the first post-operative week after low-risk oculoplastic surgery will decrease the time burden on patients without compromising their satisfaction or increase the risk of late post-operative complications.
Non-invasive treatment options such as focused ultrasound has been used with success for the treatment of skin laxity in various parts of the body including the face, neck, décolletage, arms, buttocks, thighs, and legs. With the increasing demand for greater results, researchers have started combining modalities together such as focused ultrasound and intradermal filler, with promising effects for skin laxity and volume restoration. This study aims to elucidate the efficacy and added benefits of a combination therapy using focused ultrasound (Ulthera) and calcium hydroxylapatite (Radiesse) for the treatment of skin laxity and volume restoration of the lower thighs, specifically the lower anterior third of the thigh.

To demonstrate effectiveness of hybrid fractional laser for the treatment of poor skin quality on the decolletage, back of the hands and lower legs
25 subjects Fitzpatrick skin type I-VI with mild to moderate laxity of the skin of the face, neck, and eyelids will be enrolled. All subjects will undergo treatment with the Thermage FLX system using a 900 pulse, 4cm2 Total Tip to treat the face and neck and a 450 pulse, 0.25cm2 tip to treat the upper and lower eyelids.
