NCT ID: NCT04872556 Terminated - Joint Pain Clinical Trials

Evaluation of the Effect of Laser Acupuncture on Taxane Acute Pain Syndrome Patients

Start date: May 13, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is a prospectively randomized and double-blinded clinical study. Cancer patients were suffered from the taxanes-induced joint pain, and would be advised to receive laser acupuncture in specific points to relieve pain. Clinical effects of analgesic changes would be evaluated before and after the intervention. The inflammation associated indices would be further analyzed to reveal the therapeutic mechanism of laser acupuncture. The laser acupuncture was expected to relief taxanes-induced adverse effects in patients and also can improve patients' life quality.

NCT ID: NCT04870112 Terminated - Clinical trials for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

A Study to Evaluate Subcutaneous Durvalumab in Patients With Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer and Small Cell Lung Cancer

SCope-D1
Start date: June 28, 2021
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This study has 2 parts: dose finding and dose confirmatory. In Part 1, the dose finding phase of the study, there will be 3 or more dosing levels to find out what dose of durvalumab administered as an infusion under the skin acts similarly to durvalumab administered into a vein. 24 participants with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer will be enrolled for a 12 month treatment period and 3 months follow up In Part 2, the dose confirmation phase of the study, participants will receive the dose of durvalumab identified in Part 1 of the study. The goal of Part 2 will be to learn more about the way that the body processes durvalumab when administered as an infusion under the skin. Approximately 90 participants with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer will be enrolled; additionally, up to 10 participants with Small Cell Lung Cancer (who will receive concurrent chemotherapy) will be enrolled for a 12 treatment period and a 3 month follow-up period. AstraZeneca has decided to stop further enrollment and the study was terminated when all patients in Part 1 (Phase I) completed their last study visit. No safety issues or clinical concerns however, have been identified for this study. Part 2 (Phase II) was not initiated.

NCT ID: NCT04866017 Terminated - Clinical trials for Non Small Cell Lung Cancer

A Study to Compare Ociperlimab Plus Tislelizumab Versus Durvalumab Following Concurrent Chemoradiotherapy (cCRT) in Patients With Stage III Unresectable Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Start date: June 17, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of this study is to compare progression-free survival (PFS) between Arm A (ociperlimab in combination with tislelizumab) and Arm C (Durvalumab) as assessed by the Independent Review Committee (IRC) per Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors Version 1.1 (RECIST v1.1) in participants with stage III unresectable PD-L1-selected non-small cell lung cancer whose disease has not progressed after cCRT.

NCT ID: NCT04861246 Terminated - Clinical trials for Benign Pigmented Lesions

Evaluation of Laser Treatment for Benign Pigmented Lesions by Non-invasive, Cellular Resolution Optical Coherence Tomography

Start date: September 15, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In recent years, with the maturity of laser technology, laser therapy is one of the popular options for the treatment of pigment diseases. The absorption spectrum of melanin ranges from 300 to 1,000 nm. In past studies, the 532 nm Q-switched Nd:YAG laser is effective for the treatment of superficial melanin. But there are still some side effects in laser treatment, such as post-inflammation pigmentation (PIH), depigmentation, skin redness, etc., and PIH is particularly likely to occur on darker skin. However, there is still no good evidence as to what factors or laser treatments can cause PIH. Therefore, in this study, we will use ApolloVue® S100 Image System (ApolloVue® S100 Image System is a medical device class II) to scan before and after skin of laser treatment to observe the changes in the skin condition. By observing and analyzing these changes, as a evaluation of predictors or prognostic factors after laser treatment and whether PIH will occur.

NCT ID: NCT04847232 Terminated - Hyperkalemia Clinical Trials

Effect of Sodium Zirconium Cyclosilicate on Arrythmia-related Cardiovascular Outcomes in Participants on Chronic Hemodialysis With Recurrent Hyperkalemia (DIALIZE-Outcomes)

Start date: April 30, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of Sodium Zirconium Cyclosilicate (SZC) on arrhythmia-related cardiovascular outcomes in participants on chronic hemodialysis with recurrent hyperkalemia.

NCT ID: NCT04844086 Terminated - Clinical trials for Mantle Cell Lymphoma

RPM CD19-mbIL15-CAR-T Cells in Patient With Advanced Lymphoid Malignancies

Start date: March 2, 2021
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is an open-label Phase 1 study to determine the feasibility, safety, and the recommended maximum tolerated Dose (MTD) of a single infusion of RPM CD19 mbIL15 CAR-T cells for adult patients. Approximately 24 subjects will be enrolled and it is anticipated approximately 16 subjects will be infused at the varied doses of T cells.

NCT ID: NCT04828837 Terminated - Clinical trials for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Exacerbation

Bubble PEP Training Among Patient With Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease in Pulmonary Function Effects

Start date: February 2, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The morbidity rate of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is increasing year by year. It is predicted to be the third leading cause of death worldwide in 2030. People with COPD have a high risk of needing a ventilator due to the decline of lung function, the increase of secretions, the dysfunction of airway clearance, and the obstruction and loss of alveolar elasticity.
