There are about 6461 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Russian Federation. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The role of digital technologies in healthcare is growing. Therefore, the roles and responsibilities of medical professionals are constantly changing and there is a need for continuous professional development. However, according to some authors, today's generation of doctors can be considered as "digital aborigines" [Aungst, Patel, 2020]. Low literacy in the field of e-health has become a major obstacle to digital transformation in developed countries, so digital skills training for healthcare professionals has gradually been introduced in the USA [Adler-Milstein, et al., 2014], Europe [Schreiweis, et al., 2019], Australia [Evolution of eHealth in Australia, 2016]. However, in our opinion, the digital competence of a doctor is not only the ability to work at a computer and use software. The successful development of the digital world is preceded by some psychological and emotional processes. Computerization and automation of the healthcare system began relatively recently, traditional (paper) document management in medicine is familiar to everyone, but not optimal from the point of view of system management. Therefore, universal digitalization is perceived as something artificially imposed, increasing the workload of doctors, distracting from their main work and shifting the focus from truly therapeutic activities to filling out documentation. As a result, doctors have a range of negative emotions: fear, annoyance, anxiety, despondency, refusal of further contacts, etc., which lead to an aggravation of emotional burnout. The ability to recognize and live through these states, to come to an inner balance, to accumulate an internal resource for further development of new technologies - all this is possible under the condition of the development of emotional intelligence. By developing so-called soft skills, the doctor will be emotionally stable, capable of further advancement and learning new skills, and will easily cope with temporary difficulties and setbacks. And the final stage, having gained the opportunity to overcome internal obstacles, the doctor is ready to begin mastering specialized digital skills directly related to medical activities: work in medical information systems, remote monitoring, artificial intelligence, medical decision support systems. The result of the development of a doctor within this model will be not only digital literacy, but also the development of an internally stable personality that easily overcomes any obstacles not only in training, but also in communication with patients and colleagues.
The purpose of this study is to measure the efficacy and safety of baxdrostat in Asian participants with uHTN or rHTN. The main objective is to compare the difference in SBP change from baseline at Week 12 of treatment between participants receiving 2 mg baxdrostat or 1 mg baxdrostat tablets and participants receiving placebo tablets.
Primary objective of the study: evaluation of the effect of food intake on the bioavailability of 4-MUST, tablets, 128 mg (Valenta Pharm JSC) after a single oral administration on an empty stomach and after a meal, at a dose of 256 mg (two tablets). Additional aim of the study: evaluation of pharmacokinetic parameters, safety and tolerability of 4-MUST, tablets, 128 mg (Valenta Pharm JSC) in healthy volunteers after a single oral administration on an empty stomach and after a meal, at a dose of 256 mg (two tablets).
Due to the steady increase in the burden of HFpEF, especially in women, it is an important task to search for new markers and early predictors associated with the development of this disease. Nowadays, the relationship of adverse pregnancy factors with the development of long-term cardiac pathology, in particular, HFpEF, has not been completely established. One of the most significant issue is studying the younger phenotype of women. The goal of this observational analytical cross-sectional study is to study the relationship of heart failure with a preserved ejection fraction in middle-aged women with adverse pregnancy outcomes in the history of pregnancy. Research question: is there an association between adverse pregnancy factors and the development of HF in middle-aged women? Objectives 1. To assess the frequency of detection of APOs in the history of pregnancy in middle-aged women, depending on the presence or absence of HFpEF. 2. To compare clinical and anamnestic data, morphological and functional parameters of the heart in middle-aged women with the presence and absence of HFpEF. 3. To establish an association between APOs and the development of HFpEF in the long-term period in middle-aged women. 4. To identify mediators between the presence of APOs and the development of HFpEF in middle-aged women. Study population - 45-60 year-old women with the history of pregnancy (>20 weeks) in the absence of low left ventricle ejection fraction (<50%) Primary endpoint: The prevalence of HFpEF in patients with the history of APOs.
A multicenter observational retrospective-prospective study of prevalence and clinical characteristics of transthyretin amyloidosis (ATTR) cardiomyopathy (CM) in Russian patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) in real clinical practice. The retrospective phase will entail secondary data collection from electronic or paper medical records of patients who are participating/participated in the PRIORITY-CHF study and have HFpEF. Those patients who have a high suspicion of having ATTR-CM and provided informed consent will be invited to participate in the prospective phase. The prospective phase will consist of three visits, during which a routine comprehensive cardiologic evaluation in order to confirm or exclude ATTR-CM diagnosis will be performed. In patients with confirmed ATTR-CM the material for genetic testing will be collected in order to specify the type of ATTR-amyloidosis
According to the literature, presepsin was recommended not only as an effective indicator in the diagnosis of sepsis in intensive care units, but also as a reliable prognostic marker of postoperative inflammatory processes in cardiac surgery. Previous study carried out in Petrovsky NRCS related to biomarkers in cardiac surgery and presepsin in particular showed good sensitivity in infection complications prognosis.
Patients with PAD having superficial femoral artery (SFA) occlusion were consecutively enrolled. Demographic data and medical history were taken. Physical examination and duplex ultrasound were performed.
The purpose of the study: Evaluation of the clinical efficacy and safety of the use of collagen matrix/membrane in the surgical treatment of the consequences of injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system (anterior cruciate ligament tears, rigid first toe) by using IKDC, KOOS, ACLOAS, VAS, AOFAS, SF-36 scales
