There are about 6461 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Russian Federation. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This is a Phase III, multicenter, randomized, double-masked, active comparator-controlled, parallel-group study evaluating the efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetics of faricimab administered by intravitreal (IVT) injection at 4-week intervals until Week 24, followed by a double-masked period of study without active control to evaluate faricimab administered according to a personalized treatment interval (PTI) dosing regimen in participants with macular edema due to branch retinal vein occlusion (BRVO).
This study will assess the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of Atogepant 60 mg compared with placebo in participants with episodic migraine and who have previously failed 2 to 4 classes of oral prophylactic treatments.
This study is designed as an international, open-label, controlled two-arm, randomized phase III comparison study evaluating the efficacy and safety of trifluridine/tipiracil in combination with bevacizumab versus trifluridine/tipiracil monotherapy in patients with refractory mCRC.
This study is open to adults who have kidney disease that is not caused by diabetes. The purpose of the study is to find out whether a medicine called avenciguat (BI 685509) improves kidney function. Three different doses of avenciguat are tested in this study. Participants get either one of the three doses of avenciguat or placebo. It is decided by chance who gets which avenciguat dose and who gets placebo. Participants take avenciguat or placebo as tablets 3 times a day. Placebo tablets look like avenciguat tablets but do not contain any medicine. Participants continue taking their usual medicine for kidney disease throughout the study. Participants are in the study for about 7 months. During this time, they visit the study site about 11 times. Where possible, about 6 of the 11 visits can be done at the participant's home instead of the study site. The trial staff may also contact the participants by phone or video call. Kidney function is assessed based on the analysis of urine samples, which participants collect at home. At the end of the trial the results are compared between the different doses of avenciguat and placebo. During the study, the doctors also regularly check the general health of the participants.
The aim of this prospective study is characteristic of changes in the vaginal wall and vulva after treatment of neodymium laser radiation with a wavelength of 1064 nm. To assess the condition of the vaginal walls and vulva before and after laser treatment, the following methods will be used: vaginal health index, perineometry, elastography of vulva, cytological methods. Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI), The Pelvic Organ Prolapse/Urinary Incontinence Sexual Questionnaire (PISQ-12), Vulvovaginal Symptoms Questionnaire (VSQ), Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) will be used to collect feedback on changes in the participants life quality. Total up to 120 participants with postmenopausal atrophy will be involved in the study. Participants will be divided into three groups: laser treatment group, topical hormones treatment group, and both laser treatment with topical hormones application group, by 40 participants in each. The time intervals between tests will be the same for all groups. Thus, a direct comparison between conventional treatment (topical hormones), laser treatment and combine laser and topical hormones therapy of the vaginal atrophy will be made. The main hypothesis of the study is improvement in condition of the vaginal walls after laser treatment and laser treatment with hormones application compared with the initial state of not less than thirty percent of participants, and improvement in condition on average compared with the hormones only therapy group.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the Pharmacodynamics (PD), Pharmacokinetics (PK), safety, tolerability, immunogenicity, and clinical efficacy of efgartigimod coformulated with recombinant human hyaluronidase PH20 (rHuPH20) as compared to efgartigimod IV infused in patients with generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG). The study duration is approximately 12 weeks. After screening, patients will be randomized to receive either efgartigimod infusions or efgartigimod PH20 subcutaneously (SC)
This 2-arm, multi-center, open-label, parallel-group phase II trial will assess the efficacy, safety and pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics of the human antibody MOR202 in subjects with anti-PLA2R antibody-positive membranous nephropathy indicated for immunosuppressive therapy
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate similar efficacy and safety between TVB-009 and Prolia® (denosumab)
Research question: Whether there are the changes in quality of life in patients with haemophilia A after switching from SHL FVIII prophylaxis to efmoroctocog alfa prophylaxis? A 12-month prospective open-label, single-arm multicentre study. Evaluation of parameters will be carried out on the backdrop of patient treatment in the settings of routine medical practice. No medical examinations/ procedures/ treatment(s) on the top of regular medical practice are planned, except fixed time of examinations.
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a pandemic of unprecedented proportions with an exponential increase in incidence. Airway epithelium infection caused by coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) triggers a cascade of difficult-to-control reactions, a so-called "cytokine storm". In contrast to the previously used method of external beam radiation therapy for patients at high risk of a cytokine storm, in present study a different dose delivery mechanism through inhalation of 99mTc-labeled carbon ultrafine aerosol obtained from a TechnegasPlus generator is used. By utilizing anthropometric phantoms the dosimetric characteristics of the applied technique and obtained the coefficients of the transition from the count rate over the area of interest to the activity contained in this area (in kBq) were studied. By observing a group of healthy volunteers after inhalation of 99mTc-labeled carbon ultrafine aerosol, the accumulated dose in the human lungs under internal irradiation of 99mTc was determined. A novel technique has been developed and the possibility of using inhaled low-dose radionuclide therapy in the complex treatment of patients with COVID-19 - associated pneumonia has been studied. As a result, a significant improvement of hematological parameters in the group of patients after inhalation of 99mTc-labeled carbon ultrafine aerosol as compared to the control group is expected.
