There are about 1560 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Serbia. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study will evaluateand compare intraoperative and postoperative clinical parameters related to discomfort and wound heeling, as well as laboratory wound healing parameters after piezosurgical and conventional surgery approach during complex exodontia in healthy and patients with Diabetes Mellitus Type 2
The aim of this observational study is to examine the connection between bone-tendinous defects after BTB graft harvest and the development of anterior knee pain.
This study aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of subcutaneous (SC) anifrolumab versus placebo in adult participants with cutaneous lupus erythematosus (CLE).
The goal of this randomized controlled double-blind parallel-group interventional trial is to evaluate the effects of of dietary supplementation with a pre-probiotic on patient- and clinician-reported outcomes, and brain tissue metabolism in patients with post-covid fatigue syndrome.
The goal of this prospective, observational study is to identify predictors of difficult mask ventilation, direct laryngoscopy and intubation in pediatric patients scheduled for elective surgery and to determine their incidence. As a final goal, the investigators will try to define new scoring system for difficult airway prediction. Participants will be pediatric patients age infant till school age. Participants will have their airway assessed one day before surgery by taking anthropometric measurements of face and neck. After iv anesthesia induction and application of muscle relaxant, the investigators will assess difficulty of face mask ventilation by using grading from 0-4. Direct laryngoscopy will be performed with Macintosh blade and experienced anesthesiologist will determine Cormack - Lehane score as well as intubation difficulty score (IDS).
The study is a prospective, non-randomized early feasibility study intended to evaluate the safety and performance of the JuxtaFlow System (also known as the JuxtaFlow Renal Assist Device (RAD)) in participants with pre-existing renal insufficiency who are undergoing cardiac surgery.
This prospective longitudinal study will follow participants with Multifocal Motor Neuropathy over time and collect data on their clinical outcomes, quality of life, and use of health care resources. Participants will follow their regular visit schedule with their treating physician, except for an optional second visit occurring 7 to 14 days after the start of the study to collect biomarker data. No IMP will be administered.
This is a Phase 3 global, multicenter, 52-week, open-label extension (OLE) rollover study for subjects completing study CN012-0026 or CN012-0027. Subjects (randomized or non-randomized) who complete the 38-week CN012-0026 or CN012-0027 study will be eligible to enroll in CN012-0028. The primary objective of the study is to assess the long-term safety and tolerability of KarXT in subjects with psychosis associated with Alzheimer's Disease.
The goal of this observational study is to assess the level of oxidative stress during cesarean section depending on the type of anesthesia applied and to determine the factors that can affect the level of oxidative stress. The main questions it aims to answer are: - is there any association between specific parameters of pregnancy, socio-demographic characteristics and laboratory analyses with an increased level of oxidative stress - is there any association between type of anesthesia for ceasarean section with an increased level of oxidative stress Blood sample would be taken from the participants in the study for these analyses on three occasions in 3 test tubes (before cesarean section, during cesarean section and after cesarean section). Researchers will compare patients that received general anesthesia with patients under spinal regional anesthesia to see if there is any difference in level of oxidative stress measured by laboratory parameters.
This is a prospective, randomized, controlled clinical study designed to determine the effectiveness of caudal block combined with general anesthesia in providing intra- and postoperative analgesia, and its effect on hemodynamic stability and drug consumption.
