There are about 1560 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Serbia. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study evaluates KRT-232 in Combination With TL-895 for the Treatment of Relapsed or Refractory Myelofibrosis and KRT-232 for the Treatment of JAK Inhibitor Intolerant Myelofibrosis.
This is an open-label trial consisting of two sub-studies to be conducted sequentially with the purpose of evaluating the safety and suitability of a two feeding systems in pre-term infants (one containing HMOs and one without HMOs).
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and the safety of two doses of CHF6001 (Tanimilast) as add-on to maintenance triple therapy in the target patient population.

This prospective single arm double-blind study approved by the Ethics Committee of the institution, will be conducted on at the Oncology Institute of Vojvodina in Sremska Kamenica, Serbia. Patients with colo-rectal cancer liver metastases (CRLM) is presented to the multi-disciplinary team (MDT).Screening and enrolment is conducted after established of indication for resection. The surgeons assesses resection margin (RM) for every resected liver specimen (RLS) intra-operatively by inspection and palpation. These data will be compared with pathological RM examination as a "gold standard". Resection margin of 1 mm or more will be rated as negative RM (RM-) otherwise RM is positive (RM+). Taking the result of the pathohistological examination as "gold standard" it is determined that RM is true positive when the pathologist and surgeon agreed that the RM is positive. False negative RM is when the surgeon assesses RM as negative and pathologist as positive. The sensitivity of the surgical assessment of RM+ is defined as the rate of RM+ which was correctly identified. True negative RM is determined when the pathologist and surgeon agreed that it is negative RM. False positive RM defined when the surgeon assessed RM as positive, but pathologist found that it was RM-. The specificity of the surgical assessment of RM is defined as the rate of RM- which is correctly identified. Total accuracy represents the rate of correctly recognized positive and negative RM, relative to the total number of samples. Agreement between surgeon and pathologists finding will be analyzed as well as difference between them. Disease recurrence and disease-free survival (DFS) will be analyzed by RM.
The objective of this clinical trial is to assess whether ladarixin treatment is effective in preserving beta-cell function and delaying the progression of type 1 diabetes (T1D) in adolescent and adult patients. The safety of ladarixin in the specific clinical setting will be also evaluated.
The purpose of this investigation is to examine the effects of 6-week unilateral isometric training interventions over quadriceps femoris on maximal strength and RFD-SF parameters and cortical excitability. Isometric strength training involved either electromyostimulation, voluntary activation, or the combination of both. The second aim is to investigate the potential cross-over effect on a non-trained leg.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of MK-8189 at a range of doses (8 mg, 16 mg, and 24 mg once daily) in adult participants who have an acute episode of schizophrenia according to Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders 5th Edition (DSM-5) criteria. The primary hypotheses are the following: (1) MK-8189 24 mg is superior to placebo in reducing the Week 6 mean change from baseline in Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) total score (2) MK-8189 16 mg is superior to placebo in reducing the Week 6 mean change from baseline in PANSS total score. With Amendment 4, enrollment was changed to approximately 500 participants with removal of the MK-8189 8 mg treatment arm. Participants enrolled before Amendment 4 that have been assigned to 8 mg MK-8189 will remain on 8 mg MK-8189 per protocol.
The purpose of this study is to compare overall survival (OS) and progression free survival (PFS) per Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors Version 1.1 (RECIST 1.1) as assessed by blinded independent central review (BICR). Hypothesis (H1): Concurrent chemoradiation therapy with pembrolizumab followed by pembrolizumab plus olaparib is superior to concurrent chemoradiation therapy alone with respect to PFS per RECIST 1.1 by BICR. Hypothesis (H2): Concurrent chemoradiation therapy with pembrolizumab followed by pembrolizumab is superior to concurrent chemoradiation therapy alone with respect to PFS per RECIST 1.1 by BICR. Hypothesis (H3): Concurrent chemoradiation therapy with pembrolizumab followed by pembrolizumab plus olaparib is superior to concurrent chemoradiation therapy alone with respect to OS. Hypothesis (H4): Concurrent chemoradiation therapy with pembrolizumab followed by pembrolizumab is superior to concurrent chemoradiation therapy alone with respect to OS.
A 38 week dosing trial of lonapegsomatropin, a long-acting growth hormone product, administered once-a-week versus placebo-control. A daily somatropin product arm is also included to assist clinical judgement on the trial results. Approximately 240 adults (males and females) with growth hormone deficiency will be included. Randomization will occur in a 1:1:1 ratio (lonapegsomatropin : placebo : daily somatropin product). This is a global trial that will be conducted in, but not limited to, the United States, Europe, and Asia.
