There are about 9702 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Poland. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study will evaluate the efficacy, pharmacodynamics (PD) and safety of ELX/TEZ/IVA in participants 6 years of age and older with a non-F508del ELX/TEZ/IVA-responsive cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator gene (CFTR) mutation.
The primary objectives of this study are to evaluate the safety and tolerability of bemarituzumab monotherapy and combination with other anti-cancer therapies, and to determine the recommended phase 3 dose of bemarituzumab in combination with other anti-cancer therapies.
The aim of the study was to derive a Polish version of the AIMS through its cultural adaptation and validation. This process was based on an analysis of intra- and interrater reliability, as well as concurrent validity, using PDMS-2.
This study is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, phase III, three-way crossover clinical trial evaluating the efficacy and safety of KVD900, in the treatment of hereditary angioedema attacks in adolescent and adult Patients
This is a 24-week study in adult participants with severe chronic hand eczema (CHE) and with a documented inadequate response to treatment with topical corticosteroids (TCS) or for whom TCS are documented to be otherwise medically inadvisable. Eligible participants will be randomised to receive topical administration of delgocitinib cream 20 mg/g, twice-daily, or oral administration of alitretinoin capsules 30 mg (with an option to reduce to 10 mg during trial conduct), once-daily. The participants will visit the clinic regularly to have the study doctor assess their CHE and to answer questions about itch, pain, CHE symptoms, and quality of life. The purpose of this trial is to compare the efficacy, health-related quality of life, and safety of delgocitinib cream and alitretinoin capsules.
This is a 3-part study. Part A is randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled and includes patients with eosinophilic gastritis and/or duodenal-only disease. After completing Part A, participants can continue to Part C - open-label benralizumab treatment period. Following the decision to close enrollment, patients in both Part A and Part C will be given the option to proceed to 6-months of open-label benralizumab treatment in Part D.
Facial lines that develop from repeated facial expression, such as glabellar lines (GL), are typically treated by selectively weakening specific muscles with small quantities of botulinum toxin. AGN-151586 is an investigational product being developed for the treatment of GL. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of AGN-151586 for the treatment of GL in participants with moderate to severe GL. This was a 12-week study in which eligible subjects were enrolled into the study containing 2 treatment periods, double-blind period and open-label period. Participants were randomly assigned to receive AGN-151586 or placebo. There was 1 in a 4 chance that participants would receive placebo. Around 600 adult participants with moderate to severe GL were to be enrolled in the study in approximately 38 sites across the world. Participants received either AGN-151586 or Placebo administered as 5 intramuscular injections to the glabellar complex on Day 1. Participants meeting retreatment criteria may have received an open-label treatment of AGN-151586 during the study. Participants attended regular visits during the study at a study site. The effect of the treatment was checked by medical assessments, blood tests, telephone calls, questionnaires and checking for side effects.
The purpose of the study is to characterize the pharmacokinetic (PK) profile of cetrelimab administered subcutaneous (SC) and optionally intravenous (IV) in chronic hepatitis B (CHB) participants.
This study is open to adults with bronchiectasis. People can join the study if they produce sputum and have a history of flare-ups (also called exacerbations). The purpose of this study is to find out whether a medicine called BI 1291583 helps people with bronchiectasis. Participants are put into 4 groups randomly, which means by chance. Participants in groups 1, 2, and 3 get different doses of BI 1291583. Participants in group 4 get placebo. Placebo tablets look like BI 1291583 tablets, but do not contain any medicine. Participants take the tablets once a day. Participants are in the study for between 6 months and 1 year. During this time, they visit the study site about 10 times and get about 5 phone calls from the site staff. The doctors document when participants experience flare-ups during the study. The time to the first flare-ups is compared between the treatment groups. Doctors also regularly check participants' health and take note of any unwanted effects.
Intravenous lidocaine - a potent local anesthetic with analgesic and anti- inflammatory properties has been shown to be an effective adjunct that reduces intra and postoperative opioid consumption and facilitates pain management in adults. In children population promising but limited evidence is available. The study has been planned to evaluate the efficacy of continuous intravenous infusion of lidocaine in alleviation of hemodynamic reaction to tracheal intubation, as well as metabolic and hormonal response to laparoscopic procedure in children.
