The purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of tiragolumab plus atezolizumab compared with placebo plus atezolizumab in participants with previously untreated locally advanced, unresectable or metastatic PD-L1-selected non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), with no epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutation or anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) translocation. Eligible participants will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive either tiragolumab plus atezolizumab or placebo plus atezolizumab.

NCT ID: NCT04294667 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

A Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Dapirolizumab Pegol in Study Participants With Moderately to Severely Active Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

PHOENYCS GO
Start date: August 12, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the ability of dapirolizumab pegol (DZP) as an add-on treatment to standard of care (SOC) medication to achieve clinically relevant long term improvement of moderate to severe disease activity.

NCT ID: NCT04272242 Suspended - HIV Infection Clinical Trials

Drug-Drug Interactions Between Rifapentine and Dolutegravir in HIV/LTBI Co-Infected Individuals

Start date: August 1, 2020
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study will evaluate the potential drug-drug interactions between dolutegravir (DTG) and steady state rifapentine (RPT) when RPT is given with isoniazid (INH) daily for 4 weeks (1HP) as part of treatment for latent TB infection (LTBI) in HIV-1 and LTBI co-infected individuals.

NCT ID: NCT04265950 Active, not recruiting - HIV Infection Clinical Trials

Establishing Optimal Number of Doses for HPV Vaccination in Children and Adolescents Living With HIV, OPTIMO Trial

OPTIMO
Start date: March 10, 2022
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

This phase IV trial compares 3 different dosing schedules to find the optimal number of doses for HPV vaccination in children and adolescents living with HIV. Comparing 3 different dosing schedules may help researchers determine whether a single dose of HPV vaccine could be effective in preventing HPV in children and adolescents living with HIV.

NCT ID: NCT04251533 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Triple Negative Breast Neoplasms

Study Assessing the Efficacy and Safety of Alpelisib + Nab-paclitaxel in Subjects With Advanced TNBC Who Carry Either a PIK3CA Mutation or Have PTEN Loss

EPIK-B3
Start date: June 8, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine whether treatment with alpelisib in combination with nab-paclitaxel is safe and effective in subjects with advanced triple negative breast cancer (aTNBC) who carry either a PIK3CA mutation (Study Part A) or have PTEN loss (Study Part B1) or PTEN loss without PIK3CA mutation (Study Part B2)

NCT ID: NCT04233216 Completed - HIV-1 Infection Clinical Trials

Doravirine/Islatravir (DOR/ISL) in Heavily Treatment-Experienced (HTE) Participants for Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 (HIV-1) Infection (MK-8591A-019)

Start date: March 18, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a 2-part, phase 3 clinical study evaluating the antiretroviral activity and safety/tolerability of islatravir (ISL), doravirine (DOR), and a fixed dose combination (FDC) of DOR/ISL (also known as MK-8591A) in heavily treatment-experienced (HTE) participants with human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) infection. It is hypothesized that the percentage of participants receiving DOR/ISL to achieve ≥0.5 log10 decrease in HIV-1 ribonucleic acid (RNA) from study baseline (Day 1) to Day 8 is superior to placebo, each given in combination with failing antiretroviral therapy (ART).

NCT ID: NCT04230148 Recruiting - Fascioliasis Clinical Trials

Study of Safety, Tolerability and Clinical Outcomes of Egaten in Fascioliasis Patients (6 Years of Age or Older).

Start date: February 11, 2022
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

This is a multicenter, open label, non-comparative, single arm multi-country study in approximately 300 adult and pediatric subjects (≥ 6 years of age) with fascioliasis. The study population consists of male and female adult and pediatric patients (≥ 6 years of age). The study will enroll approximately 300 subjects with acute (minimum 15% of overall study population) or chronic fascioliasis. Enrolled subjects will receive two doses of 10 mg/kg of Egaten given approximately 12 hours apart. Subjects will be treated and followed up on an outpatient basis. After screening and post treatment, at Day 3 and Day 6 the subjects will be followed for safety and tolerability. These visits are primarily for safety follow up and may be telephonic or home visit by qualified personnel or onsite visits based on the investigator's discretion. During visits Day 10, Day 30, Day 60 and Day 90 post-treatment, the subjects will be followed for safety, tolerability and efficacy. On Day 15, Day 45 and Day 75, telephonic follow-up (primarily for safety) will be conducted.

NCT ID: NCT04221945 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Uterine Cervical Neoplasms

Study of Chemoradiotherapy With or Without Pembrolizumab (MK-3475) For The Treatment of Locally Advanced Cervical Cancer (MK-3475-A18/KEYNOTE-A18/ENGOT-cx11/GOG-3047)

Start date: May 12, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of pembrolizumab plus concurrent chemoradiotherapy compared to placebo plus concurrent chemoradiotherapy in participants with locally advanced cervical cancer. The primary hypotheses are that pembrolizumab plus concurrent chemoradiotherapy is superior to placebo plus concurrent chemoradiotherapy with respect to progression-free survival and overall survival. Once the study objectives have been met or the study has ended, participants will be discontinued from this study and will be enrolled in an extension study to continue protocol-defined assessments and treatment.
