There are about 11304 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Denmark. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
We want to test if an association between sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLBN) and a systemic inflammatory response can be made.
This study investigates the potential benefit of re-irradiation of patients with locally advanced rectal recurrences, by a prospective phase II clinical, imaging and translational research study.
A multi-centre, open-labelled, randomised, crossover design. The total study duration for the individual subject will be approximately 4 weeks, consisting of four site visits and two 2-week test periods at home. Visits 0 and 1 can be performed on the same day. For visit 2 and 3, 2 catheterisations will be performed in a hospital setting (one HCP catheterisation and one self-catheterisation) for bladder emptying and user experience assessments. Visit 1 and 2 are followed by a home-use test period, followed by visit 3 which terminates the study.
The overall aim of this study is to investigate how work with physical demands affects the physical capacity, work ability, labor market affiliation, pain and self-reported health in the oldest group of workers. Following research questions are to be answered: 1. How high physical work demands affects muscle strength in 55-70-year-old workers and how obesity in combination with high physical work exposure influences muscle strength, work ability, cardiac function, and self-reported health? 2. Which parameters are important for work ability and how does the exposure of high physical workload affect the work ability over time in 55-70-year-old workers? 3. By exploring the underlying mechanism of pain among 55+ year old workers, how is pain associated with work ability, BMI and physical capacity?
The goal of this observational case-control study is to learn about direct healthcare use and costs of functional somatic disorders. The aim of the proposed study is to investigate the use and costs of direct healthcare for individuals with functional somatic disorders. Researchers will compare direct healthcare use and costs of individuals with functional somatic disorders and compare them with that of healthy controls and individuals with other severe physical disease, respectively.
The study is a 5-week human study including 24 18-35 year old healthy men. Each participant will have muscle injury and tendon strain induced in one leg using neuromuscular electrical stimulation in conjunction with forced lengthening contractions. The investigators will monitor the recovery from injury/strain over a 4 week period, in which half of the subjects will receive growth hormone (somatropin) to stimulate the connective tissue synthesis.

Conducting the ABL90 FLEX PLUS Clinical Precision Study for 15 Parameters in Adult Whole Blood is to validate performance claims for precision in heparinized whole blood for 15 parameters: pH, pCO2, pO2, cCa2+, cCl-, cK+, cNa+, cGlu, cLac, ctHb, sO2, FO2Hb, FMetHb, FCOHb, and FHHb, while being influenced by testing environment that is representative of intended use environment, site variability, and operator variability in a point-of-care (POC) setting. The investigational device is the ABL90 FLEX PLUS (Figure 1) incl. consumables, running SW3.5 MR2, manufactured by Radiometer Medical ApS The study is being conducted in Denmark and in total, a minimum of 105 subjects are to be enrolled to provide successful measurement values from 3 different sites.
Conducting the ABL90 FLEX PLUS Clinical Precision Study for ctBil and FHbF Parameters in Neonatal Whole Blood is to validate performance claims for precision of the ABL90 FLEX PLUS ctBil and FHbF parameters in neonatal whole blood while being influenced by testing environment that is representative of intended use environment, site variability, intended use testing environment and operator variability in a Point-of-Care (POC) setting. The investigational device is the ABL90 FLEX PLUS incl. consumables, running SW3.5 MR2, manufactured by Radiometer Medical ApS. The study is being conducted in Denmark and in total, a minimum of 54 subjects are to be enrolled to provide successful measurement values from 3 different sites.
The goal of this clinical triall is to investigate the training effect of access to authentic patient video on mental status examination performance among 5th year Danish medical students. Aim: To investigate if - Students with add-on access to an authentic patient video e-library have improved Mental Status Examination precision compared to students that only have an add-on e-library with simulated patient videos. - Number of videos watched correlate to mental status examination test scores.
