The fast increase of Multidrug-resistant microorganisms (MDRO) due to the high amount of antimicrobials being poorly used may be limited by better regulating antimicrobial usage globally. The goal of this observational study is the performance of the MeMed BV® test in the MeMed Key® device at the emergency department to a) support the differential diagnosis between bacterial and viral infections of the respiratory tract and b) provide evidence of how the use of this test may limit gut colonization by MDRO.

The Coronavirus Disease of 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has caused an international healthcare crisis and produced a large healthcare burden. Diabetes mellitus is a common disease that can be controlled via pharmacologic agents; however, many patients have poor glycemic control, leading to disease-related complications. Diabetes mellitus has been reported in the literature to be associated with increasing morbidity and mortality in COVID-19 patients, and some hypothesize that this is due to insulin dysregulation propagating a pro-inflammatory state. The investigators aim to contribute to the growing body of literature that assesses the associations between glucose homeostasis and COVID-19 disease severity and mortality.

The main questions it aims to answer is: - Is the multistrain probiotic OMNi-BiOTiC® Active effective in reducing the incidence of URTIs in older people? - Is the multistrain probiotic OMNi-BiOTiC® Active effective in reducing the duration of URTIs in older people? - Is the multistrain probiotic OMNiBiOTiC® Active effective in changing selected immunological blood parameters in older people? Efficacy and Safety of Rifasutenizol (TNP 2198) in Participants With H. Pylori Infection

A multi-center, randomized, double-blind, bismuth-containing quadruple active comparator-controlled Phase 3 clinical study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Rifasutenizol in combination with rabeprazole and amoxicillin in the primary treatment of participants with H. pylori infection using an adaptive design with sample size re-estimation. Subjects will be randomly assigned to test group or control group at a 1:1 ratio stratified by study site, and will receive Rifasutenizol capsules, rabeprazole sodium enteric-coated tablets, amoxicillin capsules combined with clarithromycin placebo tablets and bismuth potassium citrate placebo capsules (test group), or bismuth-containing quadruple regimen of amoxicillin capsules, clarithromycin tablets, rabeprazole sodium enteric-coated tablets and bismuth potassium citrate capsules combined with RSZ placebo capsules (control group) for 14 consecutive days. 13C UBT will be performed 4 6 weeks after the last dose to evaluate the eradication effect of H. pylori.

The study was designed in a randomized controlled experimental design type to determine the effect of a 2% chlorhexidine bath applied in the pediatric intensive care unit on protecting skin integrity and preventing hospital-acquired infection. Research data were collected from pediatric patients aged 2 months to 18 years old, who were treated in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of a tertiary education and research hospital between September 2022 and September 2023. In data collection; "Child Follow-up Form", "Skin Integrity and Nosocomial Infection Follow-up Form", and "Northampton Pediatric Skin Evaluation Scale (CCRS)" were used. The data were evaluated with appropriate statistical methods in SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) for Windows 24.0 package program.
