Filter by:Neurobiology has improved the integrative understanding of brain development. With digital technologies, digital (bio)markers would be relevant variables for a better understanding of the heterogeneity of cognitive and behavioral functioning in developing children. However, the dominant statistical approach of group comparison tends to ignore intragroup variability. Applying high-dimensional data sets through multivariate methods and then combining their scores via predictive model learning algorithms would allow the identification of subtypes. Thus, EPIDIA4KIDS wants to understand the brain functioning of children aged 7 to 12 years old from heterogeneous data sources collected from a touchscreen tablet.
Assess the prevalence of medico-psychological characteristics at the time of placement (M0), their appearance / disappearance and during the two years following placement (M12 and M24) by age group in children / adolescents in Child Protective Services and placed full-time in the structures of Seine-Maritime and Eure as well as in nursery in Le Havre or Rouen
Craniosacral exploration and therapy is one of the innovative palpation and treatment techniques in specialized physiotherapy, which can contribute in an efficient, subtle and sudden way to the detection of dysfunctions in the cranial sutures or fontanelles and/or alterations or blockages that may exist in the frontal lobes and other areas of the skull and body. Objective: To demonstrate the need for programs that consider preventive evaluation and specialized physiotherapeutic treatment (craniosacral therapy) in schools and health centers during all stages of child growth (from birth to 12 years of age), maximizing the development of the child's physical, emotional, psychosocial, linguistic and cognitive capacities; avoiding major complications in the long term. Methodology: 120 children were treated without excluding sex divided into three groups: placebo group (n=41), Movement Technique to Inhibit Reflexes group (n=40) and craniosacral therapy group (n=39).
The Young Children's Participation and Environment Measure (YC-PEM) is a parent/caregiver reported outcome measure that evaluates the participation status and environmental factors of children under five years old. The aim of this study is to translate the Young Children's Participation and Environment Measure (YC-PEM) into the Turkish language and to investigate the psychometric properties of the Turkish version of YC-PEM in children with typical development and neurodevelopmental disabilities under five years old.
