NCT ID: NCT06431633 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Carcinoma, Non-Small-Cell Lung

Study of Treatment With Sacituzumab and Zimberelimab for Patients With Lung Cancer Confined to the Chest and Previously Operated on Who Were Not Disease-free.

ARIAN
Start date: June 16, 2024
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Open-label, phase III, randomized, stratified (PDL1- vs PDL1+), 3 arms, multicenter clinical trial. 129 resected patients (43 per arm) with stage from IB to IIIA and IIIB (N2) non-small cell lung cancer that do not achieve pathologic complete response (pCR) after neoadjuvant treatment. This clinical trial has 3 arms of treatment. ARM 1: Observation 10 months, ARM 2: treatment with immunotherapy (Zimberelimab) for 13 cycles and ARM 3: treatment with Sacituzumab Govitecan and Zimberelimab for 8 cycles and Zimberelimab monotherapy for 5 cycles. The primary objective is to evaluate the disease-free survival (DFS): defined as the length of time from randomization to the earliest event defined as disease recurrence, any new lung cancer (even in the opposite lung), or death from any cause at any known point in time. Patient accrual is expected to be completed within 2 years, treatment is planned to extend during 1 years and the patients will be followed up for 2 years. The study will end once survival follow-up has concluded.

NCT ID: NCT06429865 Enrolling by invitation - Clinical trials for Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Cytosponge in Surveillance After Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection for Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Start date: May 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

cytosponge has good diagnostic efficacy in the diagnosis of esophageal cancer, and is more safe, economic and comfortable. It is expected to replace gastroscope in the surveillance after endoscopic submucosal dissection to a certain extent. At present, there is no relevant research at home and abroad. This study plans to establish a large sample cohort based on the collaborative research network established earlier, prospectively include 1000 patients who received endoscopic submucosal dissection for esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and compare the effectiveness and safety of cytosponge and gastroscope in surveillance after endoscopic submucosal dissection for esophageal squamous cell carcinoma through self -comparison.

NCT ID: NCT06428708 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Metastatic Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma

[18F] PSMA-1007 PET/CT in Metastatic Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma

Start date: January 24, 2022
Phase: Early Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

Staging of kidney cancer is primarily achieved by computerized tomography (CT) scans or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). If a patient is found to have limited metastatic disease, surgical removal or radiation therapy could be considered in order to control the majority of the disease. However, if metastases are more widespread, systemic (drug) therapy may be the preferred management option. The identification of additional metastatic sites using more sensitive imaging modalities therefore has the potential to alter management, and this remains an unmet need in the field. This study will investigate the utility of positron emission tomography (PET) imaging with PSMA (prostate specific membrane antigen). Kidney cancer of the clear cell subtype has demonstrated high expression of PSMA, making it a disease in which PSMA-targeted PET imaging could help to identify occult metastatic disease.

NCT ID: NCT06427993 Not yet recruiting - Bladder Cancer Clinical Trials

Urine DNA Methylation Detection for Hematuria Evaluation

Start date: June 15, 2024
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Background: Hematuria, a common symptom of urinary system diseases, can result from various causes including infection, stones, trauma, and tumors. Urothelial carcinoma (UC), the most common malignancy of the urinary system, often presents with hematuria. Current diagnostic methods like urine cytology and cystoscopy have limitations in sensitivity and specificity, and cystoscopy is invasive. DNA methylation biomarkers offer potential for non-invasive UC detection, improving diagnostic accuracy in hematuria patients. Objective: This study aims to evaluate the diagnostic performance of DNA methylation biomarkers in detecting UC in patients with hematuria. Methods: This prospective pilot study will involve collecting preoperative urine samples from hematuria patients for DNA methylation testing using MSRE-qPCR. Sample size calculation was based on an assumed 25% prevalence of UC in hematuria patients, resulting in a total of 71 participants after accounting for a 20% dropout rate. Sensitivity, specificity, and diagnostic performance will be assessed using ROC curves. Conclusion: This study seeks to validate the effectiveness of urine DNA methylation testing for UC detection in hematuria patients, providing a basis for its clinical application and informing the design of larger future studies.

NCT ID: NCT06427941 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Advanced Hepatocellular Carcinoma

A Phase 1 Study of BGB-B2033, Alone or in Combination With Tislelizumab, in Participants With Advanced or Metastatic Solid Tumors

Start date: May 23, 2024
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This study is a first-in-human (FIH) Phase 1 study of BGB-B2033 to assess the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics, and preliminary antitumor activity of the BGB-B2033 in participants with advanced or metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), alpha-fetoprotein (AFP)-producing gastric cancer (GC), extragonadal yolk sac tumors, non-dysgerminomas, or glypican-3 (GPC3)-positive squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The study will also identify the recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D) of BGB-B2033 alone and in combination with tislelizumab for subsequent proof-of-concept studies. BGB-B2033 will be administered by intravenous infusion. The Phase 1 study will be conducted in 2 parts: Part A (Monotherapy Dose Escalation and Safety Expansion) and Part B (Combination Dose Escalation and Safety Expansion).

NCT ID: NCT06426797 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Locally Advanced Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Neoadjuvant Cadonilimab Combined With Anlotinib in Locally Advanced Resectable Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Start date: May 2024
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if cadonilimab combined with anlotinib can be a safe and effective neoadjuvant therapy in patients with locally advanced resectable esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). The main questions it aims to answer are: What level of pathological complete response (pCR) rate can be achieved with this neoadjuvant regimen? Is this neoadjuvant regimen safe enough with acceptable toxicity? Participants will: Receive cadonilimab (10mg/Kg, ivgtt, d1) and anlotinib (12mg, P.O., d1-d14) on a 21-day regimen for 3 cycles. Undertake radical resection of ESCC after neoadjuvant therapy if there is no surgical contraindication. Accept an follow-up for 2 years after surgery.
