NCT ID: NCT04611321 Terminated - Clinical trials for Advanced Cutaneous Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Study of IBI318 in Patients With Advanced Cutaneous Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Start date: December 1, 2020
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of IBI318 (anti-PD-1/PD-L1) in adult participants with metastatic (nodal or distant) cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC), or unresectable locally advanced CSCC that is not amenable to surgery and/or radiation.

NCT ID: NCT04596033 Terminated - Clinical trials for Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

TiTAN-1: Safety, Proliferation and Persistence of GEN-011 Autologous Cell Therapy

Start date: November 11, 2020
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

TiTAN-1 is a first-in-human study of GEN-011, an experimental treatment being evaluated in adult patients with advanced cancer. GEN-011 is a T cell therapy made specific to each patient, using the patient's own circulating immune cells. First, Genocea confirms which cancer proteins are recognized already by each patient's T cells using ATLAS™. Then, immune cells that recognize these cancer proteins are multiplied many times (a process called PLANET™) to create a personalized GEN-011 cell therapy, which is given back to the patient in one or more intravenous (IV) infusions.

NCT ID: NCT04502888 Terminated - Clinical trials for Squamous Cell Carcinoma of Head and Neck

Ph1 Study of SL-172154 Administered Intratumorally in Subjects With Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Neck or Skin

Start date: September 17, 2020
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase 1 open-label, multi-center, dose-escalation study to evaluate the safety, PK, anti-tumor activity, and pharmacodynamic effects of SL-172154 administered by intratumoral injection in subjects with cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC) or squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (SCCHN).

NCT ID: NCT04496674 Terminated - Clinical trials for Lung Cancer Squamous Cell

Bispecific PSMAxCD3 Antibody CC-1 in Patients With Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Lung

Start date: February 2, 2022
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This trial is a phase I study in patients with metastatic non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) after failure of second line therapy aiming to evaluate safety and efficacy of CC-1, a bispecific antibody (bsAb) with PSMAxCD3 specificity developed within DKTK. CC-1 binds to human prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) on tumor cells of squamous cell carcinoma of the lung (SCC) as well as to tumor vessels of SCC, thereby allowing for a dual mode of anti-cancer action. CC-1 was developed in a novel format which not only prolongs serum half-life but most importantly reduces off-target T cell activation with expected fewer side effects. Together with preemptive IL-6 receptor (IL-6R) blockade using tocilizumab, this allows for application of effective bsAb doses with expected high anticancer activity. The study comprises two phases: The first phase is a dose-escalation phase with concomitant prophylactic application of tocilizumab to evaluate the maximally tolerated dose (MTD) of CC-1. This is followed by a dose-expansion phase (also with prophylactic IL-6R blockade using tocilizumab). A translational research program comprising, among others, analysis of CC-1 half-life and the induced immune response as well as molecular profiling in liquid biopsies will serve to better define the mode of action of CC-1 and to identify biomarkers for further clinical development.

NCT ID: NCT04458909 Terminated - Clinical trials for Recurrent Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

Testing the Addition of an Anti-cancer Immune Therapy Drug (Nivolumab) to the Usual Chemotherapy Treatment (Cisplatin or Carboplatin With Gemcitabine) for Recurrent or Metastatic Nasopharyngeal Cancer

Start date: December 9, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This phase III trial compares the effect of adding nivolumab to the usual chemotherapy (cisplatin or carboplatin with gemcitabine) versus standard chemotherapy alone in treating patients with nasopharyngeal cancer that has come back (recurrent) or spread to other places in the body (metastatic). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Chemotherapy drugs, such as cisplatin, carboplatin, and gemcitabine, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving nivolumab with the usual chemotherapy may work better than the standard chemotherapy alone in treating patients with nasopharyngeal cancer.

NCT ID: NCT04442126 Terminated - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

A Study of NM21-1480 in Adult Patients With Advanced Solid Tumors

Start date: August 19, 2020
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a first-in-human, open-label, multi-center, Phase 1/2, dose-escalation study with expansion cohorts to evaluate NM21-1480 for safety and immunogenicity, to determine the maximal tolerated dose and recommended Phase 2 dose, define the pharmacokinetics, to explore the pharmacodynamics, and to obtain preliminary evidence of the clinical activity in adult patients with selected advanced solid tumors.

NCT ID: NCT04428333 Terminated - Clinical trials for Neoplasms, Head and Neck

Study of GSK3359609 With Pembrolizumab and 5-fluorouracil (5-FU)-Platinum Chemotherapy in Participants With Recurrent or Metastatic Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma

INDUCE-4
Start date: August 13, 2020
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate if the addition of GSK3359609 to pembrolizumab in combination with 5FU-platinum based chemotherapy improves the efficacy of the pembrolizumab combination with 5FU-platinum based chemotherapy in participants with recurrent or metastatic (R/M) head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). This randomized, double-blinded, Phase II/III study will compare the combination of GSK3359609 with pembrolizumab and 5FU-platinum chemotherapy to placebo in combination with pembrolizumab and 5FU-platinum chemotherapy in participants with recurrent or metastatic HNSCC of the oral cavity, oropharynx, hypopharynx or larynx.
