NCT ID: NCT03172754 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Renal Cell Carcinoma

Study of Nivolumab and Axitinib in Patients With Advanced Renal Cell Carcinoma

Start date: June 12, 2017
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase I/II, open-label, multi-center study of axitinib in combination with nivolumab in patients with previously treated and untreated advanced RCC. This clinical study will be composed of a dose finding phase (Phase I) and two parallel dose expansion phases (Phase II). The dose finding phase will assess the safety of the combination and establish a recommended phase II dose (RP2D, the highest tested dose that is declared safe and tolerable by the Investigators and the Sponsor Investigator) in patients with advanced RCC who have received prior systemic therapy for metastatic disease. Phase II will evaluate the efficacy of the combination at the RP2D in two parallel expansion cohorts in both previously treated and treatment naïve patients.

NCT ID: NCT03170960 Active, not recruiting - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Study of Cabozantinib in Combination With Atezolizumab to Subjects With Locally Advanced or Metastatic Solid Tumors

Start date: September 5, 2017
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a multicenter Phase 1b, open-label study to assess safety, tolerability, preliminary efficacy, and pharmacokinetics (PK) of cabozantinib taken in combination with atezolizumab in subjects with multiple tumor types, including advanced urothelial carcinoma (UC) (including bladder, renal pelvis, ureter, urethra), renal cell carcinoma (RCC), castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC), non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC), triple negative breast cancer (TNBC), ovarian cancer (OC), endometrial cancer (EC), hepatocellular cancer (HCC), gastric cancer/gastroesophageal junction cancer/lower esophageal cancer (GC/GEJC/LEC), colorectal cancer (CRC), head and neck (H&N) cancer, and differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC). The study consists of two stages: in the Dose Escalation Stage, an appropriate recommended cabozantinib dose for the combination with standard dosing regimen of atezolizumab will be established; in the Expansion Stage, tumor-specific cohorts will be enrolled in order to further evaluate the safety and efficacy of the combination treatment in these tumor indications. Three exploratory single-agent cabozantinib (SAC) cohorts may also be enrolled with UC, NSCLC, or CRPC subjects. One exploratory single-agent atezolizumab (SAA) cohort may also be enrolled with CRPC subjects. Subjects enrolled in the SAC cohorts and SAA cohort may receive combination treatment with both cabozantinib and atezolizumab after they experience radiographic progressive disease per the Investigator per RECIST 1.1. Due to the nature of this study design, some tumor cohorts may complete enrollment earlier than others.

NCT ID: NCT03154190 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Acute Myeloid Leukemia

Health Care Coach Support in Reducing Acute Care Use and Cost in Patients With Cancer

Start date: August 8, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This randomized pilot clinical trial studies health care coach support in reducing acute care use and cost in patients with cancer. Health care coach support may help cancer patients to make decisions about their care that matches what is important to them with symptom management.

NCT ID: NCT03149822 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma

Study of Pembrolizumab and Cabozantinib in Patients With Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma

Start date: September 28, 2017
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a phase I/II open-label study designed to evaluate the combination of pembrolizumab and cabozantinib in subjects with locally advanced, recurrent, or metastatic renal cell carcinoma. Sequential dose escalation of cabozantinib with standard dose pembrolizumab will occur in the phase I dose escalation part of the study to determine the recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D). Subsequently, subjects will receive cabozantinib at the RP2D in combination with pembrolizumab in the phase II dose expansion part of the study.

NCT ID: NCT03142334 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Renal Cell Carcinoma

Safety and Efficacy Study of Pembrolizumab (MK-3475) as Monotherapy in the Adjuvant Treatment of Renal Cell Carcinoma Post Nephrectomy (MK-3475-564/KEYNOTE-564)

Start date: June 9, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of pembrolizumab (MK-3475) in the adjuvant treatment of adult participants who have undergone nephrectomy and have intermediate-high risk, high risk, or M1 no evidence of disease (M1 NED) renal cell carcinoma (RCC) with clear cell component. The primary study hypothesis is that pembrolizumab is superior to placebo with respect to Disease-free Survival (DFS) as assessed by the Investigator in male and female participants with intermediate-high risk, high risk and M1 NED RCC.

NCT ID: NCT03141177 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Renal Cell Carcinoma

A Study of Nivolumab Combined With Cabozantinib Compared to Sunitinib in Previously Untreated Advanced or Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma

CheckMate 9ER
Start date: August 22, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine whether Nivolumab Combined with Cabozantinib is safe and effective compared to Sunitinib in previously untreated advanced or metastatic renal cell carcinoma

NCT ID: NCT03117309 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Advanced Renal Cell Carcinoma

Phase II trial of nivolumab in 120 treatment naïve patients with ccRCC.

NCT ID: NCT03108703 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Renal Cell Carcinoma

Assessment of QoL and Outcomes With SBRT for RCC

AQuOS-RCC
Start date: June 2015
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) is an emerging radiotherapy technique that precisely delivers high doses of radiation to tumours. It has been investigated as definitive treatment for an increasing variety of primary tumours including lung, liver, prostate, and now renal cell carcinoma (RCC). The principal aims of this study are to prospectively assess quality of life (QoL) and oncologic outcomes in non-surgical patients who receive SBRT for the treatment of RCC.

Study type: Interventional

This randomized, double blind, phase 2/3 study is aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of CM082 in combination with everolimus in Chinese patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma. The primary endpoint is progression-free survival.

NCT ID: NCT03093688 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Clinical Safty and Efficacy Study of Infusion of iNKT Cells and CD8+T Cells in Patients With Advanced Solid Tumor

Start date: March 1, 2017
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Invariant Natural killer T (iNKT) cells are a unique subset of lymphocytes that express homogeneous TCR recognizing KRN7000 which was up-regulated by many kinds of cancer cells. PD-1+CD8+T cells of patients with advanced tumor are most likely tumor-specified. Our hypothesis is that immunotherapy strategy of infusion of iNKT cells and PD-1+CD8+T cells may decrease the tumor burden and improve overall survival. The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of treatment of patients with advanced solid tumor by infusing of iNKT cells and PD-1+CD8+T cells.
