Efficacy of First-Line Gemcitabine Chemotherapy in GemCore+ Metastatic Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma Patients

GemSign-01
Start date: February 1, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this interventional study is to learn about the efficacy of first-line chemotherapy with Gemcitabine in metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma patients expressing the GemCore signature in their tumor. The main question it aims to answer is to assess efficacy of Gemcitabine (tumor response, survival rate) in the population of patient bearing the GemCore signature. Participants will start the chemotherapy with Gemcitabine as usually performed in standard care of their center. They will consent to a genomic analyze of their tumor to know if it bears the GemCore signature. The center will manage the participant's follow up as usually realized in standard care.

Wet Heparinized Suction for Abdominal Cancer

EUS Heparin
Start date: April 15, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this research is to compare the amount and quality of tissue obtained by EUS-FNB when the device is flushed with an anticoagulant or "blood thinner" vs. saline a salt water solution as well as the use of a microsieve in order for the doctor to look at the tissue to check the acceptability of the specimens before sending for analysis. You will be randomly assigned (like a flip of a coin) to have either the blood thinner or the salt water solution placed within the needle being used to sample your abdominal tumor and to have either a sieve used or not. You will be one of 42 participants enrolled in this data collection study which includes 1 sites in the United States.

Heterotopic Ossification in Abdominal Incision and Pancreatic Cancer

Start date: September 1, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

To investigate whether pancreatic cancer is the cause of heterotopic ossification of abdominal incision.

NCT ID: NCT03659292 Not yet recruiting - Cancer of Pancreas Clinical Trials

Effects of Epidural Block on the Prognosis in Patients With Pancreatic Cancer Undergoing Distal Pancreatectomy

Start date: September 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this randomized controlled clinical trial is to investigate the effects of epidural block on overall survival,disease-free survival and recovery in patients with pancreatic cancer undergoing distal pancreatectomy. This study will also evaluate the effects of this technique on neuroendocrine, stress and inflammatory response in these patients.

Start date: January 15, 2019
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

A Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled, Parallel, Multi-Center Study to Assess the Efficacy of BRCX014 Combined with Standard-Of-Care Treatment in Subjects with Glioblastoma Multiforme, Multiple Myeloma, and GI Malignancies

NCT ID: NCT03278015 Not yet recruiting - Cancer of Pancreas Clinical Trials

Phase 2 Trial of Gemcitabine vs S-1 vs Gemcitabine Plus Nab-paclitaxel as Adjuvant Chemotherapy of Post-operative Pancreatic Cancer Patients

Start date: October 1, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest tumor types, there is no effective treatment method clinically. Recently radical surgical resection is recommended for this cancer, How to improve the survival rate of patients is the doctors' goals . Postoperative chemotherapy can partly raise post-operative survival rate. the purpose of this study is to three chemotherapy regimens(gemcitabine monotherapy, S-1 monotherapy and combining nab-paclitaxel with gemcitabine),which is best regimens for raising patients' survival rate, and will provide a chemotherapy choice for clinic therapy of pancreatic cancer.
