NCT ID: NCT05742061 Not yet recruiting - Osteoarthritis Knee Clinical Trials

Intra-articular Platelet Rich Plasma vs Corticosteroid in Treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis Patients

Start date: April 2023
Phase: Early Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

Knee osteoarthritis is the most common type of osteoarthritis in the lower extremity and constitutes 23% of all arthritis cases, about 13% of females and 10% of males aged above 60 years have symptomatic knee OA. Intra-articular corticosteroids (IACs) are a frequently-used treatment regimen for pain relief from symptomatic knee OA as it inhibits inflammation and reduces prostaglandin synthesis. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is an autologous blood product containing a high percentage of various growth factors (GFs), such as fibroblast growth factor, epidermal growth factor, vascular endothelial growth factor, transforming growth factor-β and platelet-derived growth factor. The aim of this study is to compare effect of intra-articular injection of platelet rich plasma versus corticosteroid in treatment of primary knee osteoarthritis.

NCT ID: NCT05746728 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Metastatic Triple-negative Breast Cancer

Surufatinib Combined With Tislelizumab in the Second-line and Further Treatment of Triple-negative Breast Cancer

Start date: April 2023
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a multicenter, open-label, single-arm clinical study designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of surufatinib combined with tislelizumab in the treatment of metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). The study will be conducted in two parts; Safety lead-in phase and dose expansion phase.

NCT ID: NCT05749549 Not yet recruiting - Advanced Cancer Clinical Trials

Phase I/IIa Study of BR1733 in Subjects With Advanced Cancers

Start date: April 2023
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study is a Phase I/IIa, multi-center, open-label study of BR1733 with a dose escalation part followed by a dose expansion part in adult subjects with advanced cancers. This treatment to characterize the safety, tolerability, PK, PD and preliminary antitumor activity. The study treatment will be administered until the subject experiences unacceptable toxicity, progressive disease, and/or has treatment discontinued at the discretion of the Investigator or the subject, or due to withdrawal of consent.

NCT ID: NCT05751564 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Osteo Arthritis Knee

"Ready-to-use" Intra-articular Formulation of Mesenchymal Stromal Cells

PANLAR-II
Start date: April 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical trial is to compare a newly developed off-the-shelf cryopreserved "ready to inject" Mesenchymal Stem Cell (MSC) product with the usual MSC preparation the investigators have used in knee osteoarthritis (OA) patients. Since usual MSC therapy requires cell manipulation in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)-type facilities, this new formulation would enable wider access to Cell therapy and Multicentric clinical trials in areas devoid of expensive facilities and equipment.

NCT ID: NCT05758480 Not yet recruiting - Long COVID Clinical Trials

Characterization of the Immunometabolic Signature in Long COVID-19.

LoCo-ImMet
Start date: April 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of this study is to identify immunometabolic signatures associated with Long COVID in plasma and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC).

NCT ID: NCT05760014 Not yet recruiting - Stress Clinical Trials

Medical Hypnosis and Stress Reduction in Hospitalization

HYPNOSTRESS
Start date: April 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Patients with chronic diseases, especially rare diseases with uncertain diagnoses, have a representation of their disease and an experience of their hospitalization that is sometimes traumatic, distressing and painful. Patients hospitalized can benefit from non-medicinal techniques, such as medical hypnosis, which could improve the perceived stress in these patients and thus optimize the hospitalization experience. The aim of this study is to evaluate the impact of medical hypnosis in reducing stress and improving the experience of hospitalization comparing two groups : a group (cases) benefiting from an hypnotic technic " the place of safety " and a control group without intervention during hospitalization

NCT ID: NCT05762484 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Hidradenitis Suppurativa, Acne Inversa

Efficacy of Laser Hair Removal Therapy in HS

HaLa
Start date: April 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic, recurrent and debilitating inflammatory skin disorder, characterized by painful inflamed nodules, abscesses and tunnels in the skin folds such as the axilla, inguinal region and gluteal area. The primary event in HS is occlusion of the hair follicle. HS is a notoriously difficult to treat disease, because treatment options are limited and evidence based treatments are scarce. Prevention of diseases is an important topic in medicine. However, current clinical trials in HS are focusing on anti-inflammatory drugs in patients with severe HS, whereas prevention and treatment of patients with more common mild HS is neglected. Laser hair removal therapy is a non-invasive procedure with minimal treatment discomfort for patients. Previous limited studies have suggested positive results in favor of laser hair removal therapy in HS. We therefore hypothesize that hair depilation using laser hair removal therapy may prevent the formation of new lesions and flares of the disease. The objective is to assess the efficacy of laser hair removal therapy in patients with mild to moderate HS.

NCT ID: NCT05762861 Not yet recruiting - COPD Exacerbation Clinical Trials

Exploring Clinical Predictors of COPD Exacerbation in a Community Cohort

EPISODE
Start date: April 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of our study is to assess the feasibility and benefits of the implementation of an interactive telemonitoring system for earlier detection of COPD exacerbations in a community cohort preventing further deterioration requiring hospital admissions.

Family Therapy Training and Implementation Platform (FTTIP) Supplement Study

Start date: April 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The goal of this observational study is to learn about therapists' and agency leaders' experience with evidenced based treatments and the Family Therapy Training and Implementation Platform (FTTIP). The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. What are the perceptions and experiences of the therapists about the process of learning and practicing specific Culturally Informed Flexible Family Based Treatment for Adolescents (CIFFTA) competencies from the platform? 2. What are therapists' unique experiences related to implementation of the evidenced based treatment (EBT), delivery of competencies learned, and the application of EBT in a real-world context? 3. What are agency leaders' experiences in facilitating EBTs at their agencies what are the barriers that can be addressed by the organizational readiness work? 4. What is the experience of the entire agency with the platform, consultation process, perceived cost-benefit, and agency readiness?
