View clinical trials related to Axial Spondyloarthritis.
Filter by:The aim of this project is to quantify global DNA methylation in patients with Ankylosing Spondylitis or Axial Spondyloarthritis as compared with control subjects.
This is a not interventional, pragmatic, prospective, randomized (cluster) study to evaluate the potential benefit of a Treat to Target approach in comparison to routine treatment (i.e. usual care) in patients with axial spondyloarthritis.
This is a prospective observational national (France) study with 2 visits 3 months apart (baseline and 12 weeks after TNF alpha blockers initiation). The objective of recruitment is 500 SpA patients (diagnosis according to their treating rheumatologist) initiating a TNF alpha blocker. The main objective of the study is to evaluate the impact of a concomitant fibromyalgia on the anti-TNF treatment effect in axial Spondyloarthritis in both anti-TNF naïve and pre-exposed patients.
To evaluate the efficacy of KHK4827 in axSpA (ankylosing spondylitis [AS] and non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis [nr-axSpA]) subjects compared to placebo, as measured by the proportion of axSpA subjects achieving an Assessment of SpondyloArthritis international Society (ASAS) 40 response at week 16.
This study aims to compare biological communities in stool samples obtained from age, diet and BMI-matched subjects in five study groups: subjects with ankylosing spondylitis (AS) never treated with tumor necrosing factor (TNF) inhibitors, subjects with ankylosing spondylitis previously or currently treated with TNF inhibitors, subjects with non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis (nrSpA) never treated with tumor necrosing factor (TNF) inhibitors, subjects with non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis previously or currently treated with TNF inhibitors and healthy participants. The differences in fecal microbiota composition will be explored using shotgun metagenomic sequencing through the University of Washington. The investigators predict that this study will confirm a significant difference between the fecal microbiota composition (FMC) of both AS and nrSpA patients and controls.
Prospective multicenter study assessing the incidence of inflammatory and structural lesions seen on MRI of the SI joints in a consecutive population of women aged 18-50 years old. The study hypothesis is SpA may be misdiagnosed on MRI in post partum women due to increased stress on the joint following pregnancy and childbirth, as MRI of the SI joints may show lesions that could mimics axial spondyloarthritis. The primary objective of this study is to determine the incidence of SI lesions seen at MRI in women. The secondary objectives are to compare the incidence and pattern of MRI inflammatory and structural lesions of the SI joints and to determine the factors associated with inflammatory or structural changes of the SI joints in a population of women. the investigators will especially compare the population of women within a year after childbirth versus the population of women who never gave birth or who gave birth over 24 months ago or more.
A study comparing a treat-to-target (T2T) intense treatment approach with routine treatment (Standard of Care [SOC]) in reducing disease activity in participants with axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA).
To investigate if electronic reporting of patient reported outcome measures from home is comparable to the traditional touch-screen solution to hospital among patients with rheumatoid arthritis and axial spondyloarthritis
The purpose of this study was to demonstrate efficacy, including effects on inflammation by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) assessments, of secukinumab on Achilles tendon enthesitis for up to 1 year with a primary focus at Week 24, in patients with active Psoriatic Arthritis and axial Spondyloarthritis despite current or previous non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) and/or disease modifying anti-rheumatic drug (DMARD) and/or anti-TNFα therapy.
The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the study drug known as ixekizumab in biologic disease modifying antirheumatic drug (bDMARD) naïve participants with nonradiographic axial spondyloarthritis (nonrad-axSpA).
