Navio is a new generation of computer navigation systems allowing intraoperative navigation of the bone cuts relative to both ligaments and skeletal axes, prior to bone removal. An improved accuracy is incorporated by the use of robotics in a burr for bone removal. This study investigates whether this advanced technology leads to better clinical or radiostereometric results, by comparing one group operated with Navio to another group operated with conventional technique.
Mobilization and rehabilitation are essential components of a successful functional recovery following total hip and knee arthroplasties. Currently, we have no good measure of how mobile patients are after their surgery. Recent technological advances in personal activity monitors, such as the Fitbit, might provide medical providers and patients the opportunity to more objectively monitor their postoperative mobility and recovery course. However, these consumer activity monitors have yet to be validated in terms of their accuracy and utility for monitoring mobility in the immediate postoperative setting in arthroplasty patients. Our goal is to validate one of the most popular consumer activity monitors, the Fitbit Zip, in the postoperative total joint arthroplasty patient population.
This Prospective, Single-center, Pilot Study will assist in gaining an understanding of the actual CRFA lesions in an in vivo situation in areas where CRFA is utilized as a standard of care treatment option for the relief of chronic pain (cervical facet joints, thoracic facet joints, lumbar facet joints, Sacroiliac (SI) region, hip and knee).
The objectives of this study are to confirm safety and performance of the Anatomical Shoulder Domelock System when used in hemi or total shoulder arthroplasty by analysis of standard scoring systems, radiographs and adverse event records.
This is a randomized controlled trial with the seleXys PC cup and RM Pressfit vitamys cup in combination with the optimys short stem. Wear rate and migration is assessed with roentgen stereophotogrammetric analysis (RSA) measurements.
A post market, non-randomized, multi-center, open-label,clinical study using survivorship to study the safety and efficacy of the Integra® TITAN™ Total Shoulder System 1.0 (TAS) when used for total shoulder arthroplasty.
A double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized dose ranging study for the use of 3VM1001 Cream, 2g three times daily, 3g three times daily, or 3g four times daily for treatment of chronic pain associated with osteoarthritis of the knee compared to inactive placebo.
Adipose-derived stromal vascular fraction cells (SVFs) include regenerative cell populations (hematopoietic cells, pericytes, endothelial cells and progenitors, stromal/stem cells) and thus are potentially important as new therapeutic tools for the repair and regeneration of acute and chronically damaged tissues. The general objective of this study is to evaluate safety and clinical efficacy of a single intra-articular injection of freshly isolated auto-SVFs for the treatment of patients with knee osteoarthritis (OA). This study uses autologous adipose-derived SVFs, as therapeutic agent and intra-articular administration, as a mode of delivery. Expected clinical effects: a treatment reduces pain, increases function and reduces stiffness in the knees of osteoarthritic subjects.
In this Post Market Clinical Follow-up Study (PMCF Study), the short-term clinical and radiological results of the cementless Excia T® prosthesis in routine clinical use shall be assessed and the migration taking place in the first 24 months evaluated.
