NCT ID: NCT05171543 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Apicomarginal Defects

Effect of Combined Use of an Allograft and Membrane on the Healing Outcome of Apicomarginal Defects

Start date: February 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Healing of apicomarginal defects using 2 different groups, one being treated with the use of an allograft and a membrane and a control group, will be assessed and compared using 2D and 3D criteria. Also, quality of life will be compared between the two groups.

NCT ID: NCT04366700 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Apicomarginal Defects

Evaluate the Effect of Graft and Membrane on Healing of Apicomarginal Defects

Start date: November 1, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study will compare the effect of guided tissue regeneration using a mixture of autograft and PRF covered with a collagen membrane as compared to the membrane alone in the healing of apicomarginal defects. Healing of the lesions will be compared 2 dimensionaly and 3 dimensionaly using CBCT.

NCT ID: NCT02329678 Completed - Clinical trials for Apicomarginal Defects

Efficacy of Guided Tissue Regeneration Membrane in the Healing of Apicomarginal Defects

Start date: January 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Introduction: The present clinical trial was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of membrane barrier in the healing of apicomarginal defects. Methods: Thirty patients meeting inclusion criteria were selected and allocated randomly into two groups: collagen membrane group and control group. Clinical and radiographic measurements were recorded during follow up at regular intervals of 0, 3, 6, 9, and 12 months after surgery. The criteria for success included the absence of clinical signs and symptoms, and complete or incomplete radiographic healing.
