NCT ID: NCT06201546 Completed - Clinical trials for Anesthesia, Regional

Comparison of Abdominal Plane Blocks in Postoperative Pain Control in Patients Undergoing LSG

Start date: February 25, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this prospective observational study is compare in terms of efficiency and complications transversus abdominis plane (TAP) and Modified thoracoabdominal plane block-perichondrial approach (M-TAPA) blocks in patients undergoing laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy. The investigators aims to examine whether M-TAPA block provides more effective analgesia than TAP block in upper abdomen surgeries, and whether there is any difference in terms of nausea- vomiting and need for additional analgesics. The participitans will be observed for postoperative 24 hours with numeric rating score (NRS), postoperative nausea-vomiting score (PNVS) and in terms of need for additional analgesic dose.

NCT ID: NCT03652103 Completed - Pain, Postoperative Clinical Trials

Efficiency of Erector Spinae Plane Block For Patients Undergoing Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy

Start date: September 5, 2018
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Investigators' goal is to determine whether Erector Spinae Plane Block would provide a better analgesia, help mobilization and early discharge or increase satisfaction for patients undergoing Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy(PNL). One of the two groups will receive ESP catheterization after general anesthesia conducted. The other group will receive routine analgesia protocol used for PNL. The total amount of drugs administered, pain scores(NRS) at certain time intervals and at certain events(removal of nephrostomy and pain at mobilization) will be recorded and compared.

NCT ID: NCT03623230 Completed - Pain, Postoperative Clinical Trials

Concentration Effect of Local Anesthetics on Femoral Nerve Block Efficiency

Start date: August 10, 2018
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

US-guided femoral nerve block is used effectively in post-operative pain management in the surgical treatment of the lower extremity. However, the volume and concentration of the local anesthetic drug to be administered remains controversial. In this prospective, randomized, double-blinded study, patients who underwent unilateral primary total knee arthroplasty and successfully performed spinal anesthesia with standard method and dosage, will be selected for US-guided femoral nerve block after the operation. Patients will be divided into three groups with simple randomization. The First group will be determined as the control group (GCont) and only dressing will be applied to the patients. For second group(G125), 0,125% 20 ml local anesthetic and for the third group (G25), 0,25% 10 ml local anesthetic will be administered to the femoral nerve without changing the drug dose (25 mg bupivacaine). Whether there is a difference between post-op analgesia durations, motor block formation, mobilization time and 90° flexion time between the groups will be investigated.

NCT ID: NCT03111797 Completed - Cardiac Output Clinical Trials

Robot-assisted Lobectomy Versus Video-assisted Lobectomy

Start date: January 1, 2016
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This prospective and observational cohort studies the morphine consumption difference during the first 48 hours after a lung lobectomy between patients operated with a robot assisted or a video-assisted technique for a lung cancer lobectomy. Second outcome was to search eventual cardiac output difference during the surgery in 100 patients (50 in each group) using a non invasive monitoring device of cardiac output All patients operated between january 2016 and March 2017 for a lung cancer lobectomy were included.
